Shi Yiqing didn’t look too good after seeing how readily she agreed. After all, Shen Lan had saved them more than once, so they owed a debt of gratitude they could never return. Also, it was his cousin who kept clinging on to him, not Shen Lan’s fault.
But one would treat someone close and distant differently, so he would definitely be siding with his relative.
