Chapter 61: The Storm (3)

The moment Lin Xiuping stood up, Wang Haoxue was on guard. On one hand, she was worried about Su Tian eating a loss, on the other, she couldn’t help but be secretly glad.

Serves her right, anger this neurotic woman to death.

But, this woman’s mouth really was stinky. Everytime she opened her mouth she said “little bitch”, but who knows who the real little bitch was.

Su Tian remained calm, “I don’t have the ability to teach him. He’s amazing. The Kaka he drew was very good. My neighboring little brother even cried…”

“Ah—!”

Lin Xiuping suddenly screamed, picked up the food on the dining table and chucked it at Su Tian.

“Fuck!”

Wang Haoxue cursed. It was too late for thinking before she picked up the porridge she was eating and threw it at Lin Xiuping.

Su Tian was just about to duck when her vision suddenly turned black. She smelled the clean and refreshing air unique to a teenager.

With a bang–

All the food Lin Xiuping threw was blocked by Liu Kaiyan.

However, the hot porridge Wang Haoxue threw spilled all over Lin Xiuping’s head and face.

The porridge had just been served and unliked vegetables, it didn’t cool quickly, so it burned her face red.

Lin Xiuping screamed and rushed towards Su Tian, but Liu Kaiyan grabbed her hands.

Su Tian backed up a step and sighed, turning towards Liu Kaiyan: “Sorry.”

She had purposely riled up Lin Xiuping.

But no matter what Lin Xiuping was like, she was still Liu Kaiyan’s mom, his real, biological mom.

Regardless of how much he hated her, seeing his own mom like this must not be easy to accept.

Liu Kaiyan held firmly onto Lin Xiuping’s hands, letting her leave scratches all over his hands with her long nails.

When he looked at Su Tian, the bright spots in his dark eyes slowly faded.

His heart had thousands, tens of thousands words he wanted to say. He wanted to say that there was no need for her to say sorry, that he was the one that should be sorry. Because of him, she was scolded over nothing. He wanted to ask her if she was giving up on him, if they could no longer be friends…

Right, be friends.

He didn’t dare to want more. Just being friends with her was enough to make him happy.

He knew that there were many classmates that all wanted to be Su Tian’s friend.

All his complex emotions were expressed in just two words:

“Su Tian…”

He gently called her name.

It was time for a reckoning. He had always planned to give them the fatal blow after college examinations, but his plans had changed now.

He wanted to grab onto the light that suddenly appeared in his life, he wanted to grab those hands that brought him light. He wanted to become more and more outstanding…

… outstanding enough to be by her side.

Su Tian sent a comforting smile his way: “Go, you and Auntie both need to see a doctor.”

Lin Xiuping held onto Liu Kaiyan, whining, kicking, hitting, to the point where Su Tian couldn’t endure it anymore.

Liu Kaiyan’s heart finally relaxed. Without saying any of the words he had wanted to say, Su Tian somehow understood what he was thinking.

Everything he wanted to say couldn’t be put into words.

When Liu Kaiyan took Lin Xiuping out of the cafeteria, Wang Haoxue suddenly yelled at both of them: “Hey, I’m telling you this because of Tian Tian and Liu Kaiyan. You’re being used as a gun by someone else, idiot. The person who called you last night was Lu Ji’s Peach Crisp’s owner.”

Wang Haoxue thought she was a genius, letting the dogs fight amongst themselves.

Between a neurotic woman and a crazy fool, it was actually hard to say who would win, ah.
