Chapter 40 – Miss Rich Girl (2)
After reading the information sent to her from the system, Su Tian felt that she had just finished reading a romance novel. Except that this girl wasn’t the main character, but the villainous female supporting character.
The villainous female supporting character’s name was You Pinyan, the only child of the You family and was spoiled rotten. A year ago, her mother passed away. Within six months, her father remarried and the stepmother brought with her sister that was only 6 months younger than her. Her stepsister’s name was You Pinyu.
Ever since her mother has passed away, You Pinyan had been acting strange, and she had completely gone off the deep end with the introduction of her stepmother and stepsister. She spent all her time and effort in making their lives difficult.
But, for some odd reason, every time she went crazy over them, she would be caught in the middle of her actions by different people. Sometimes it was her father and sometimes her fiancée, Tang Qifeng.
Everybody blamed her and told her to refrain herself.
On top of that, You Pinyu was skilled in playing piano, dancing, etc., whereas You Pinyan’s biggest skill was to spend money.
You Pinyu was a tender, cute, and a good child with no drama. You Pinyan, on the other hand, was wild, rebellious, and over the top. More and more, everybody around her started to dislike You Pinyan.
You Pinyu was like the female lead in a novel who was loved by everyone; whereas You Pinyan was like the villainous female supporting characters whose only purpose was to make the main character stand out even more.
The worst part was her fiancée Tang Qifeng. Slowly but surely, he was attracted by You Pinyu and finally he wanted to break off the engagement. And that effectively made You Pinyan the natural obstacle standing between the male and female lead’s happy ending.
What irked You Pinyan the most was their names – Pinyan, Pinyu, Yanyu, “Yan” always came before “Yu”.
(T/N: The combined meaning of the two characters “Yan” and “Yu” meant “language”. Although this translator disagrees that “Yan” always comes before “Yu”. “YuYan” was certainly also an acceptable form, but possible in a different Chinese dialect than the one that the author was familiar with.)
Pinyan, who had always been extreme finally turned dark completely. With her villainous mode in full force, Pinyan gone down the path of fighting with Pinyu over the inheritance, man, family business and finally making a big mess out of the businesses and brought about her own demise.
According to the script, You Pinyan was bullying You Pinyu when she was slapped by her father. She ran away in a rage and got a job at a small shop.
Not too long from now, her fiancée Tang Qifeng would find her and bring her back to continue on her fate as a spoiled rich kid.
Su Tian was heaving deep sighs when she returned to the dessert shop. Xi Yun asked her softly what had happened after he seeing her like that.
With a sad look, Su Tian said, “The divine heaven is always tossing difficult issues at me.”
Just think about it, she hasn’t resolved the issues with Little Cutie and Boss Liu yet, and now she had a runaway girl on her hands as well.
One must understand that love affairs on top of drama with the riches was much more complicated than the situations of both Little Cutie and Boss Liu.
Xi Yun, “What kind of issues? Perhaps I can help?” said Xi Yun, trying to act like an adult.
Su Tian was amused. She reached out and pinched him on his cheek, “I will be alright, jie jie will be happy if you just take good care of yourself.”
