Chapter 34 – Boss Liu’s Comics (1)
Xi Yun hadn’t been beaten as of late. Now that the bruises on him were gone, his face was white and pretty. That, on top of the demonstration on his bravery and tact, completely captured the hearts of all the high school girls.
Everybody was teasing him as they were eating their desserts.
“So, Xiao Yun, what do you want to be when you grow up?”
“I want to become a dessert maker and make desserts for jie jie and Aunty He. And makes lots of money!” replied Xi Yun very seriously.
Su Tian and He Qingwan both smiled at him and that made him blush.
Wang Haoxue was the worst of them all. She pinched him on his cheek and said, “Oh? If you like Su Tian jie jie so much, why don’t you marry her when you grow up?”
Xi Yun seemed to have remembered something and, all of a sudden, his face turned beet red. He glanced over at Su Tian bashfully then buried his head in his dessert. One could, however, still see his burning red ears.
All the girls pointed at him and laughed.
Being teased by all the high school girls, Xi Yun felt like he was sitting on nails and couldn’t get comfortable. Finally, he looked up and chastised the girls, “Girls... girls... should be more reserved.”
He had just learned the word “reserved” and in a haste just blurted it out.
The girls giggled even harder than before.
Blushing, Xi Yun casted a look at Su Tian and saw that even she was laughing with the other girls. BOOM! He even gave up on his dessert and dashed away while covering his face.
These group of big sisters were too shameless!
Even... even if he was thinking about it... they shouldn’t have just called him out like that. And jie jie heard every word of it too. Sobs.
When everybody finally had their fill of dessert and returned to school, the first period in the afternoon was already over.
Some more timid ones began to worry, “Do you think our teacher will want to make an example out of us? Last time, during class, she said that anyone who was late coming back from lunch will have to clean the bathroom for a week.” Not to mention they didn’t just run late, they straight up skipped a period.
“Of course not, we have good reasons for that. Our teacher should be proud of her!” Someone tried to comfort her.
“Exactly! We are heroines. We should be encouraged!”

More chattering noises and the group walked into the classroom while everybody looked at them. They held their heads up proudly, like a group of roosters.
Before they were even seated, the other classmates rushed up to them.
“Hey! I heard that you guys caught a scam artist?”
“I saw you on my way. So what happened? Give us the details, quick!”
“We even saw cops there!”
“What is going on? What are you guys talking about?”
......
Su Tian smiled and said, “A con artist was conning my mom when we got there, so we trapped him.”
The other classmates, who were craving for details, said, “.... Oh, never mind, why don’t you tell the story, Wang Haoxue.”
Wang Haoxue laughed out loud, “Tiantian, you are so bad at telling stories. How did you manage to make such an interesting story sounds so dry?”
Su Tian just smiled at her with no comment, looking very well-tempered. All the young roosters around them shivered.
While Wang Haoxue recount the story exultantly, their class teacher Teacher Zhang entered.
Teacher Zhang stepped onto the podium and smacked the blackboard with the yardstick. The students immediately returned to their seats, and the classroom went quiet.
Teacher Zhang, “I heard already heard about what happened this afternoon. Su Tian, Wang Haoxue, Chen Qingqing.... You all did very well. I have already made a report to the school. Once the results from the police came out, you will receive awards from the school. Further, I will give you additional moral points....”
“Oh, yay!” cheered the girls below.
“Be quiet, I am not done yet...”
The classroom became quiet again and all the girls looked at Teacher Zhang, anticipating what she was going to say next. Were there going to be even more rewards?
“However, that has nothing to do with the fact that you all skipped the first period after lunch and your punishment will be cleaning duties for a week. Everybody who have duties for this week are relieved of their duties as these girls will be taking care of them all.”
“What? Nooooo!” Immediately, the classroom was filled with the girls’ moaning sounds.
Liu Kaiyan, sitting in the back, saw that even the usually calm Su Tian was frowning, couldn’t help but looked down and smiled.
When he heard about what had happened at the dessert shop, that was the first time he ever felt that he was too weak. He should have gone with them. If anything had gone wrong, the group of girls wouldn’t have been able to handle the situation.
