Third day of the Trial.
Ji Yuan and Heng Wujian had doubled back to the split passageways to look for Sun Dashu and Zhao Gao shortly after the Hunter Snow Black was killed.
During this time, they had encountered three more battles with the dark raptors. But the numbers were no more than 3 and they easily finished off the dark raptors.
It took them a while to find Sun Dashu and Zhao Gao again, which was like 14 hours after they had been separated.
Unfortunately for them, they could only find their dead corpses.
From their wounds, Ji Yuan and Heng Wujian could easily tell what had killed them; Sun Dashu was killed by a dark raptor and as for Zhao Gao, there were several spear marks on his body.
It was obvious to them that Zhao Gao had been killed by the respawned Hunter Snow Black.
Ji Yuan and Heng Wujian did not stay for too long and 10 hours later, they had found a deserted place with two passage way to rest.
This time round, Heng Wujian had no objections about finding a place with split passageways to rest.
In fact he said to Ji Yuan, "If Hunter Snow Black shows up again, you run first. I follow you."
Ji Yuan merely grinned but said nothing.
He knows that it was awkward to Heng Wujian's face for him to run away first, especially when his divine consort and so many others were all viewing their battle imagery. And that was why he had said that to him.
If the 'Great Spiritas Hero Ji Yuan' run away first then he was merely following his lead.

Heng Wujian was shocked, "Why didn't you warn us of this earlier?"

Moreover, did the team all agree with the strategy of killing all oppositions in the first place? Didn't we say, if this Hunter Snow Black spawns 10 times then we shall kill this Hunter Snow Black 10 times?"
"Or rather," he chuckled. "You are the one that said that."
Heng Wujian began to smile bitterly, "I did say that."
This was awkward to Heng Wujian's face especially when he was a great saint as well.
He tried to defend himself by adding, "I didn't know that this Hunter Snow Black is such a formidable opponent. That is why I got careless."
Ji Yuan looked at him and grinned, "Do you think that Hunter Snow Black will be an easy opponent when she is only one while we have 4? Or you think that the trial is assuming that everyone is as weak as Sun Dashu or were at an even lower cultivation realm."
Heng Wujian answered awkwardly, "No…"
Ji Yuan was not out to embarrass Heng Wujian on purpose; it was because he was quite worried about the safety of Xiao Muhan who was even weaker than this Sun Dashu.

The Lovely Empress Lu Jiangsu had turned ashen immediately; it was because she had been too careless and today, she would be the first victim of this Hunter Snow Black as she saw the dark light of the black spear began to move with great profound power.
To her startled surprise, the death ray of the Hunter Snow Black was quickly upon one of the champions and he was swept aside by the profound energies that had just exploded on him.
Then the Hunter Snow Black had simply flashed past the Lovely Empress Lu Jiangsu to pursue the other two male champions.
The Lovely Empress Lu Jiangsu gasped, "I am saved?"
It was as though she was completely invisible!
