After Ji Yuan had stepped into the shimming golden portal, he saw that he was with around 70 champions that were all from Snowy Pavilion City in a platform.
He was quickly joined by the Smiling Divine Maiden and Xiao Muhan who were wondering like him, "Where are we now? Inside the arena? Where are the rest of the champions from the other city-states?"
Indeed, they were inside the arena now.
And the 5 divine consorts, their followers, Yang Mi, Yu Jingjing and Destiny were all viewing them from a giant crystal wall in the Divine Temple of the Goddess Ai Tina while numerous spiritas were viewing them from inside the Colosseum.
But as soon as Ji Yuan was inside the arena, many of the champions were now openly staring coldly at Ji Yuan and were even badmouthing him, "So he is that Great Spiritas Hero Ji Yuan? He dares to call himself a Great Spiritas Hero? Has he forgotten who he is already? In front of so many seniors, his face is really quick thick!"
The reason why they had been so outspoken now was because they were now in another space and as with all battle imageries, they could not be heard elsewhere.
In short, the 5 divine consorts were not able to hear any of them even though they could see them.
Without their divine consorts to rein them anymore, the anger of these celestial champions toward Ji Yuan were now exploding to boiling point; either they were envious of Ji Yuan's good reputation with the divine consorts or they were envious that Ji Yuan was with the Smiling Divine Maiden who had become their Sex Goddess.
Ji Yuan was not mindful that they were jealous of him but he was mindful that they were looking at his senior sister and he displayed a fight-me-if-you-dare look upon them.
Now, not all the champions were celestials and there were even some spiritas male and females among them so they did not quite understand why some of the champions were looking at Ji Yuan with such a bitter look even though Ji Yuan had saved their city-state.
These spiritas champions on the other hand had a look of adoration as they looked in awe of their Great Spiritas Hero Ji Yuan.
But before a fight could break out between Ji Yuan and the celestial champions, a profound voice neither female or male echoed. "I am the Trial Spirit of the Spiritas Tower. Welcome to the Great Games of the Spiritas Tower…"
The profound voice of the Trial Spirit had seized the attention of everyone instead.
"There will be a series of 5 trials that you have to overcome in your teams or groups. If you can reach the last qualifying trial then you shall all be rewarded. In between each of the trial, you will be given a short break of last 1-3 days, depending on the difficulty of the trial…"

2. There is actually an alternate story ending in which the 6 Supreme Divine Gods were killed at the end of the trials of the Spiritas Tower. This is actually the first storyboard.
While this storyboard has the most impact in term of surprise but there are some difficulties in executing the romantic relationships of the heroines with JY. And also, it may a little too depressing sincee the victors are all going to have a 'sad ending'in the Greater Spiritas Realm till to the very last. So it is discarded.
Also, the story still have 2 hidden twists (if u can catch it) and this second storyboard is my final pick instead.
