The masked Divine Messenger coldly asked Ji Yuan, "What is your business in the Nine Abyss Realms?"
Ji Yuan grinned, "I am a good friend of the Philosopher Goddess and I am going there to visit her."
He didn't reveal that he is actually going there to obtain the Divine Philosopher Stone.
The masked Divine Messenger said coldly, "The Philosopher Goddess has no friends and she has never left the Nine Abyss Realms. Do you really think that I will believe in your deceits?"

He was only bluffing though and he was curious to know why the Divine Messenger had wanted to know the hierographic name of the Great Desolate Wyrm.
The masked Divine Messenger laughed jovially, "Why should I believe you?"
Ji Yuan said, "I can help you but it is whether you will be willing to believe me or not."
The masked Divine Messenger hummed coldly, "Even if I believe you but I won't take you to the Nine Abyss Realms. So, you can forget about it."
Ji Yuan said, "Alright then. Then I shall change the condition."
He then pointed at the kneeling Demoness Empress An Xuanji and said, "As long as you promise that you and your Nine Abyss Realms do not threaten their lives in the future again, I can help you. This is my new condition. But it is also my final condition. What do you think?"

The masked Divine Messenger seemed to smile behind his ghost mask, "Naturally it is to talk. I have a good way to prove if your guess is correct."
