The banquet was finally over.
Ji Yuan was now alone with Xuan Qiaoqiao and Juan Xian'Er in another guest hall.
Ding Xiaoxiao was taken to a guest room that had been specially prepared for her while Ji Yuan was taken to the guest hall first.
It was because Xuan Qiaoqiao and Juan Xian'Er had not talked to him in person for quite some time and they were curious to know what he had been doing in the Nightfall Heights all this while until the events that led to the descent of the Immortal Heavenly Wrath.
Xuan Qiaoqiao looked a little upset, "I was so worried about you for the past 3 days and today I finally know that you had entered our Sanctuary of the Forbidden. You are really great."
For the past 3 days she had been holding onto the Heart Link Necklace and had been looking for Ji Yuan; she had even feared that the worst had happened to him.
She tried to confront the Cardinal Harpy and to her horror, she had also found her to be missing as well.

So he asked instead, "I don't understand. I've entered the Sanctuary of the Forbidden but why is that the Cardinal Patriarch and the others seem like they are not bothered by it?"
Xuan Qiaoqiao giggled softly, "That is because by then they have already known that you are that masked man and a 9th realm half-immortal that can tank the Immortal Heavenly Wrath. Do you think that they will offend such a powerful half-immortal cultivator like you, even if you are a human?"
She then added with another chuckle, "Moreover, you had saved us from the Immortal Abyssal Gong Nephilim too. Even though what you did is not allowed but in the face of absolute power, they are quite flexible to bend their principles."
Juan Xian'Er was also smiling, "If they are not so flexible, why do you think they will try to pacify the Abyssal King Gong Magog instead?"

Juan Xian'Er was also smiling pleasantly, "I am so happy for my sister here too."

Xuan Qiaoqiao looked at Ji Yuan tenderly, "You did this all for me…"
Ji Yuan was looking quite startled when Xuan Qiaoqiao was suddenly looking so tenderly at him. "It is nothing at all…"
She then gave Ji Yuan a small cup of a really fragrance looking wine and smiled to him, "Let Qiaoqiao toasts you for this great help."
Ji Yuan laughed as he finished the wine in a single gulp, "This is really a good wine! If you don't mind, I can have more. Haha…"
Xuan Qiaoqiao said slowly to him, "Ji Yuan, do you still remember that you have promised to take me as your consort?"
Ji Yuan blinked his eyes, "Erm… yes?"
Xuan Qiaoqiao smiled coolly all of a sudden as she had suddenly stabbed Ji Yuan on his chest with her pointed fingers.
Ji Yuan was suddenly in a daze and he was feeling quite shocked after being attacked, "What did you just do to me?"
Xuan Qiaoqiao tenderly said, "I've just added a little profound drug to your wine when I was toasting you earlier. Even though you may be a 9th realm half-immortal cultivator but at your current weaken state, I am afraid that it is too a little late for you to plunge it now."
