While the people of Minos' group were leaving their meditative states, ready to leave this space protected by the legacy barrier, Ruth was in a critical state of her meditation.

Not only that, but the evolution process was dangerous. If one failed how he direct his powers during the first two stages of qualitative evolution, even death or mental crippling could happen to such a person.
