Paris, France.
“What? You want me to spread this in the media?”
Sophie, who had been a fixture in France, had been chased out to England. Kevin had taken her place there.
Kevin let out a feigned laugh. Hugo had come looking for him in Paris and brought an unexpected proposal, a proposal related to Lee Gun and Chun Jiwoo.
To put it simply, some among the Zodiac Saints were spreading rumors about Lee Gun, and the Capricorn Saint had taken Chun Jiwoo’s research material.
Hugo brought up the possibility of some of the Zodiac Saints having a hand in the death of Lee Gun. That was the gist of what he had to say, and Hugo wanted to use Kevin to get this information out into the media.
Kevin looked at Hugo, dumbfounded.
‘After Lee Gun’s death, he made himself scarce. The others couldn’t even find him.’
Of course, Kevin hadn’t shown much interest in finding Hugo, yet Hugo had come looking for him with this important problem.
“Why are you asking me to do this?”
“Why else? There is no one else that I can trust.”

Kevin scrunched up his face. “I’m not close enough to you that you should be revealing these secrets to me.”
It was true. If one was being honest, Hugo and Kevin hated each other.
Before Kevin had started to distance himself from Lee Gun, he used to chase after Hugo with a blade, saying things like, “Damn bastard! Get away from Teacher!” and “Why do you always get special treatment from Teacher! Get away from him!”
‘Of course, I have no idea why he started to distance himself from Gun.’
Hugo had assumed it was a case where a young man had turned into an adult and, in the process, just stopped liking Lee Gun.
It was understandable since his friend did have a bad temper and was a taskmaster.

Kevin flinched.
Hugo’s eyes turned sharp. “Someone among us is trying to slander Gun. If you were the one to spread the slander, you wouldn’t be the one to take it down unless you were an idiot, right?”

“I cannot trust the others. It doesn’t mean I trust you, but at the very least, I know you aren’t someone who would cause harm to Gun. That’s why I came to you. The media won’t move unless a Zodiac Saint asks. You’re the Zodiac Saint of the second-ranked temple, so your credibility must be high in the eyes of the media, right?”

Kevin looked sick and tired of Hugo. He exited toward the sitting room, and the disciples of the Virgo temple approached him.
“He’s leaving. You should escort him out of the castle.”

Virgo spoke to Kevin as she watched a seething Hugo exit the castle.

Hugo exited the Leo Saint’s territory. He then traveled in all directions, trying to find a way to save his wife and Lee Jaewon.
As he did so, the other Zodiac Saints kept dropping hints he should give up. Moreover, the hospital was becoming reluctant to let the two remain hospitalized, yet Hugo never gave up.
‘I won’t give up on my wife, Jaewon, and Lee Gun.’
He would save them all. However, someone didn’t like his efforts.
A fortnight later, Hugo had been visiting the sickbed of his wife and Jaewon when…
“I told you before! You should stop acting as you please!” An angry Giselle finally visited Hugo.
