Chapter 322: Maria versus Magnus Part 1
"You really have to drop that notion that you are better than all of us. You might be ranked first in the Assembly Knights, but you've seriously forgotten that we became one for a reason too," Maria shook her head in disappointment.
In the area of evading detection and running away, Wesley could arguably hold the title as number one in the entire 'The Bridge'. How else would he be able to charm an entire town and charm more than thousands of people without getting captured still if he wasn't good at concealing himself, and that's even under the condition that he is already someone that a lot of people in 'The Bridge' is warry about.
Magnus instantly realized that Wesley must have switched with their Undead doubles during the time he was busy dealing against the huge group of Undead soldiers.
"He has long already meet up with the others and are currently hiding while waiting for me," Maria did the initiative to explain.
"Good thing you've mentioned that," Magnus brandished his sword. "Now, I don't have to worry anymore about other's interrupting my fight,"
"Likewise," Maria smiled.
In the next moment, a powerful force suddenly grabbed Magnus and pulled him towards Maria.
"Telekinesis?!" Magnus instantly realized the reason why Maria didn't get a single scratch in their previous exchange. She most likely countered the force of his attack with her telekinesis.
Boom!
A powerful jab hit Magnus stomach before he could even bother to defend.
But instead of flying away, his body stayed in the same position with only his stomach slight bend to the direction of the force of the punch.
"This…" Magnus' immediately moved his arm in hopes of defending the next attack. But to his surprise, he instantly found out that his arm can no longer move.
Bang! Bang!
A series of punch directly hit Magnus body from everywhere around his body.
Although they were thrown by a woman, it wasn't in any sort of way short of strength and power. As a matter of fact, Maria's punches might even be better than the majority of males in 'The Bridge'.
"I… can't… believe… I am… losing…" Magnus was having trouble speaking.
Fortunately, because the distance was close, it became impossible for Maria to build up enough momentum to launch a strong punch. As such, it didn't deal that much damage to Magnus, especially with the armor that he is wearing, excluding the face though.
"Not… my… handsome… face…"

As if Maria knew what Magnus was thinking, Maria finally uses a skill that allowed her to deal a burst of damage despite their short distance.
Magnus instantly flew away towards a tree close to twenty meters away from them.
Boommm!
A loud explosion erupted as the tree portion of the tree where Magnus crashed instantly bursted into pieces.

The large trunk of the tree soon separated from its roots and slowly fell down to the ground, blowing up a cloud of dust afterward.
Maria puffed out her ample breast proudly to show off how easily she defeated Magnus in that brief exchange.
"Holy shit!" Lecter was in complete disbelief.
"I never thought Maria would hide that much capability," Patter added.
"I handpicked all of you for a reason," Chief Kylo muttered. But deep inside, he was also the same as the other two that didn't see it coming.
"Is that all you got?"
A voice suddenly came out from the cloud of dust.
It was Magnus.
As the dust settled down, everyone could finally see Magnus standing on his feet.

Magnus spit a bit of blood to the side and wiped the right side of his face, which left some traces of blood.
"How pretencious," Maria scoffed.
Without wasting any time, Maria did the same trick again to pull Magnus towards her.
"No you're not!" Magnus stopped both of his feet on the ground.
Boom!
As Magnus roared loudly while exerting a lot of strength to both his feet, the dragging motion suddenly came to a stop.
No, it wasn't because Maria decided to stop her telekinesis. Instead, she was now unable to pull Magnus no matter what.
"It seems like the force of your telekinesis depends entirely on your strength," Magnus smiled in triumph.
Maria's eyes showed the look of surprise for a brief moment before quickly remembering that Magnus is a battle maniac. This man quite literally rose to his current position and fame through fighting. While he might not be smart on other things, but when it comes to fighting, he can easily be compared to those geniuses.
"That's not my limit yet," Maria poured all of her strength in gathering as much mana from her surrounding to the limit of what her body can possibly handle.
"This…" Magnus was caught in a surprise and his proud moment shattered as his feet slowly started moving once again.
Whoosh!
Not long afterward, Magnus entire body was pulled straight towards Maria.
This time, however, because of the significantly increase of mana that Maria has poured into her telekinesis, the speed of pull on Magnus' body increased to a significant degree.
With a wave of her hand, Maria threw Magnus high up in the air before suddenly letting go of her telekinesis.
"I can't believe you just leave me like this!" Magnus screamed to the top of his lungs as he started falling to the ground.
Being high up in the air for the first time in his entire life, Magnus experienced a struggle trying to manuever himself with nothing to stand on to balance his body.
Just when Magnus thought that was all Maria was intending to do, he suddenly notices that below him a few of the trees were actually strangely moving as if they were being pulled out from the ground.
From this sight alone, Magnus instantly realized what is about to happen next.
"You can't possibly be thinking of throwing those trees toward me while I am in this helpless state,"
