Chapter 56: Front’s ### , Back’s ###

“There it is again…”

Aria regretted a little that she had apparently chosen the wrong path. So far, no monsters had appeared, but instead, there were many newts and snakes that crossed in front of her.

Like most girls, Aria is not very fond of reptiles. She consoled herself that she was lucky that they didn’t attack her.

As she reached a place where stalactites hung down from the top and stalagmites were everywhere below, making it difficult to walk, she heard a strange sound.

The footsteps seemed to overlap, but the sound seemed lighter than that of a human.

“You’re kidding. …… Oh no, give me a break. ……”

What came from the other side was a group of skeletons. They were definitely monsters. They don’t seem to be very strong on their own, but there are more than twenty of them, and that’s many.

What made Aria even more disgusted was the fact that the hollows of their eyes and the crevices of their ribcage were covered with a large number of maggots and other debris.

Skeletal monsters are thin and bony, so people tend to think that they have weak arms, but this is not true. They are surprisingly much more powerful than an average adult male.

Some say it’s because the bones contain a lot of magic power, but that’s not important right now.

Aria attacks from a distance with a jet of highly pressurized water. If a direct hit is made, its head snaps off and it rolls backward. If it were a normal monster, this would be a victory, but the skeleton continues to move, even if their heads got decapitated.

However, it is still the head that is in command, and if it is lost, it will start acting strangely. In fact, a skeleton without a head suddenly grabbed his companion.

“Keep attacking your friends, please please!!!”

Aria blew off the heads of several skeletons in the same manner to confuse the enemy. It worked surprisingly well, and after five minutes, the number of enemies was down to two.

The rest is easy, just release a slightly larger block of ice into the ribs and you win.

Somehow, she managed to avoid touching the maggots, and she was enjoying her victory when another visitor came rushing in from the back. He was stomping on the scattered bones and shouting unpleasantly as if he had scratched the glass.

Once again, the enemy was a pack, and there seemed to be about ten of them. The one-hundred twenty-centimeter-tall demon was a goblin species, a breeding goblin with distinctive red and purple stripes all over its body.

“This is the worst!! Nope! NOPE! NOPENOPENOPE!!!”

Turning on her heel, Aria tried to turn back to the road. Breeding goblins are one of the most hated of all demons.

Goblins often attack human women, but breeding goblins show an unusual sexual appetite and an unusual obsession with women among them.

In addition, they were a great enemy to women, as they would spray their bodily fluids as markings during battle.

“Ouch!”

Aria retreats, hitting her face on something. There was nothing there. No, there seemed to be a thin but transparent barrier.

“You’re not so lucky to have chosen this path of all places, are you, Aria-sama, the Water hero?”

Standing on the other side of the barrier is a small man with a black cloth covering half of his face - Chap.

Aria checked the ground nearby and saw that there was a kind of crystal ball, called a magic ball, placed inside the barrier to generate it.

While she was thinking that this was the worst possible time for her to show up, a dire situation was created when Aria was cornered by goblins.

“When people are cornered, their true nature comes out. I’m sure the brave ones are no exception to this, yes, yes. But I’m not a demon either. I’ll leave some room for negotiation”

“GIGIGI!!! WOBENN!! WOBENN BOUND!!!! HET GER!!!!!”

Aria sighs at the unpleasant content that arrives from the front and back, then rages with raging hair.

“I’ve got a perverted old man in the front, and perverted goblins on my back… What wouldn’t I give to change them to tiger and wolves…”

Still, her chastity would be in terrible danger if she continued to lament, so Aria drew her sword and prepared to explode in anger.
