Chapter 35: Everything Has Been Smooth-Sailing
Mu Xiao was looking for a new movie out of boredom. He had planned to watch a horror movie, but He Wei received a call and said that a girl she met during filming wanted to come over and meet with them. However, the girl was timid and did not dare to watch these movies.
Without another word, Mu Xiao carefully selected a romance film that girls would like to watch and waited for the new girl.
While He Wei brought the girl up, Jing Yan asked He Miao in a low voice, "Do you want to eat something?"

He Wei frowned unhappily and reminded her, "That's the main character of today's birthday."
The girl nodded in understanding. "So this is Young Master Jing! The person that my sister likes!"
"Xiao Jing, don't spout nonsense." He Wei glanced in Jing Yan's direction with a flushed face.
This actress had accidentally seen He Wei resting on the set, staring at her phone screen in a daze, and thus had discovered her secret. In order to make her keep this secret, He Wei had been taking care of her during the filming.
Although her acting career had been smooth-sailing ever since she found herself in the book and found out that she had the koi system with her, it was better to have less trouble. Besides, this girl was very good at complimenting her, so it was not bad to have her by his side.
Jing Yan walked past the two of them without even looking at them. He Wei's face stiffened, and she looked awkwardly at Hu Jing beside her.
"Sister, don't worry. I will help you!" Hu Jing blinked her eyes and said tactfully.
He Wei heaved a sigh of relief. This was the reason why she was willing to bring Hu Jing along.
By the time Jing Yan returned to the theater, everyone had already gathered together, except for He Miao, who was sitting alone on the side.
He walked over and placed the milk in her hand. He glanced at the excited Mu Xiao. "Let's start."
Mu Xiao clicked on the movie, but he was reluctant to look away from Hu Jing. "Xiao Jing, you don't know Brother Yan, do you? Let me introduce him to you. This is the Young Master of the Jing family, Jing Yan."

Hu Jing naturally noticed his line of sight. She was stunned for a moment, then walked to He Miao's side, bent down, and asked in an innocent and lovely tone, "Big sister, can you let me sit here?"
"Alright." He Miao stood up obediently and sat to the side.
Jing Yan clenched and unclenched his hands, but in the end, he did not grab He Miao's hand in front of everyone.
Hu Jing thanked him sweetly, then sat down next to him and started a conversation.
Meng Hui sneaked over to He Miao's side like a ghost. "Can I call you Miaomiao?"
He Miao thought about his question carefully, then laughed mischievously. "If you give me milk to drink, you can call me Miaomiao."
"That's great!" Meng Hui said happily. "I have plenty of fresh milk at home. Do you want to come to my house to drink it?"
"Meng Hui," Jing Yan stared at the screen coldly. "Shut up. You're too noisy."
Meng Hui shut his mouth in embarrassment. Hu Jing, who had been chattering beside him, blushed. She felt that Jing Yan's words were a warning to her.
Mu Xiao understood and quickly gave Meng Hui a look, but unfortunately, the light in the theater was too dark, and Meng Hui did not notice him at all.
In the movie, the female protagonist found another man who was in love with her, and the two of them were kissing passionately.
Jing Yan's heart skipped a beat. He stood up uncomfortably and walked up to He Miao. "I shouldn't have invited you to my birthday. I don't want to see you. Get out."
