Chapter 33: After Drinking

Jing Yan drank his wine nonchalantly and watched them play basketball, his eyes empty and bored.

"Jing Yan, you don't look too happy?" He Wei sat beside him with concern and gently put down a glass of honey water that had just been made. "Drink this. It'll help with the alcohol."

"I'm not drunk." Jing Yan loosened the buttons on his sleeves and rolled them up impatiently, revealing his slender and strong arms.

He Wei blushed and looked away. She looked cute and her voice was a little soft."Brother Yan, don't you want to play ball?"

"I'm not going." Jing Yan stood up in frustration.

He Wei followed closely behind. "Where are you going?"

"Let go." Jing Yan turned his head and waved his hand. "I'm going out for a walk."

"Brother Yan, you seem to have something on your mind." Meng Hui looked at his back in confusion and nudged Mu Xiao's shoulder. "Do you know what's wrong with him?"

Mu Xiao ignored him and focused on aiming at the basket.

Meng Hui snatched the basketball away in dissatisfaction, causing Mu Xiao to jump up and hit him. "What are you doing? Give it back to me."

He Wei looked at the cold honey water on the table with a heavy heart. She had a strange intuition that there was a subtle change between Jing Yan and He Miao.

Jing Yan left the banquet hall and asked the servant in charge of cleaning the corridor with a straight face, "Which room is he Miao in?"

"Young Master, it's in the innermost room," the servant answered with her head lowered.

Jing Yan nodded and quickly walked to the door. He took a deep breath before pushing the door open and explained coldly, "Grandpa asked me to come and see if you're feeling better." freewebnovel. com

The only reply he got was He Miao's soft moans. The blanket that covered her had long slid down to her waist, and the edge of her shirt was rolled up to her chest, revealing her fair and flat abdomen. He could vaguely see the edge of her bra, and then the undulating mountains.

Her slender neck was dyed with a layer of red, her jawline was tender and white, her cherry-like small mouth was moist and bright, and her long eyelashes hung above her eyes, leaving a shadow.

Jing Yan's heart suddenly beat like a drum. He hurriedly covered her with the quilt and covered the places where he should not see. Then, he heaved a sigh of relief and pushed her with a cold face.

She did not wake up. The sleeping person held his arm tightly and did not let go. Her pink face rubbed against his skin. Her mouth pouted and she mumbled something.

Jing Yan bent down curiously and put his ear close to her, only to hear her clearly. "Give me a hug, Miaomiao."

As if he had been struck by lightning, his body froze on the spot, unable to move.

He did not know that this stupid woman was so spoiled when she was drunk.

He Miao was still fidgeting around restlessly, holding his arm. Perhaps she felt cold, so she pulled herself and his arm under the blanket.

As soon as his arm touched a soft spot, Jing Yan's ears turned red, and a fire rushed up from his lower abdomen, deepening his irritation.

"Let go, He Miao." Jing Yan's voice was hoarse as he tried to pull his hand back. Perhaps he used too much force, but the person under the blanket suddenly opened her eyes.

Jing Yan suddenly stopped moving. He stared at those watery eyes, his heart skipping a beat.

"You..." Jing Yan, who had always been calm, was now so nervous that he was incoherent.

He Miao's eyes were unfocused as he looked at Jing Yan. Suddenly, tears welled up in his eyes, and Jing Yan, who had wanted to pull his arm back, was so shocked that he did not dare to move.

He Miao cried and threw herself off his arms, his tears and snot all on his clothes. "You don't want me! We've already broken off the engagement, why are you still here? Leave, I don't like you anymore."

Jing Yan was stunned on the spot. When he came back to his senses, he realized that his hands had firmly held her in his arms.

Looking at the person in his arms who cried and hiccuped, lost her temper, and fell asleep again, he felt as if someone had hit his heart with a heavy hammer.

When she said that he did not want her, his first reaction was not to sneer at her, but to refute her subconsciously.

What was he going to refute?

Jing Yan was flustered. He lowered his head and lifted her hair that was wet with tears, revealing a delicate and lovely face. His throat was so dry that he wanted to taste the sweetness from her mouth.

The moment this thought entered his mind, he was shocked.

He actually wanted to kiss her.

He hurriedly put her back on the bed and carefully covered her with the blanket. Then, he staggered out of the room and almost bumped into the servant who was cleaning the corridor.

The servant found it strange when he saw his flustered look, but before he could say anything, Jing Yan suddenly ordered in a trembling voice, "Watch her from the door. Let me know if she wakes up."
