Just when one would think that things couldn't get weirder, one of the many newly system users jumped out of nowhere with a blade on his hand towards Patriarch Cao, and the United Front Leader.
His actions came out of nowhere and startled the whole crowd, as many of them hadn't even started to take in what the hell was going on.
By the time that the scream awoke a few of them from their frozen state, the blade of that system user had arrived in front of the United Front Leader.

It was to be expected that the next moment a sound of the blade swishing through the wind and cutting through human meat was heard, and then a muffled sound of blood being coughed.
This should have been the end of the United Front Leader, and most possible the end of the United Front as well.
After all, the whole thing had been created and was being operated from this guy and the strange ability that he had awakened.
Fortunately or unfortunately though it seemed like this day was far from its end, and surprises, as everyone understood that the blood wasn't coming from the United Front's Leader.
As a matter of fact, the mouthful of blood had come from someone entirely unexpected, which was Patriarch Cao.
Surprisingly he hadn't allowed the blade to cut the weak and feeble body of his granddaughter's husband, that he had just maimed himself a moment ago, as he had placed himself in front.
That's true, Patriarch Cao had actually blocked the incoming blade with his own body, receiving the blade and the cut himself.
"Gre-Great Elder!"
The moment that Cao Family people saw the scene they couldn't help but cry in pain and surprise towards the injury of their Patriarch.
Due to the momentum generated they weren't the only ones to have been worried for Patriarch Cao, as quite a bit of the newly system users were the same.
At this moment it looked like these feeble and stupid npc's were slowly being enveloped by the drama of the show in front of them.
The only one who was looking at the whole show objectively from the very beginning without being waivered from the situation was most probably only Patriarch Ling.
But even he was unable to stay cold to that shitshow at some point. Patriarch Cao might not be the best actor out there, but this performance was certainly an Oscar worth performance.
Of course, he had no intention on calling Patriarch Cao on the shitshow performance because he was able to take advantage of this to eliminate as many as he could, giving a breather to his Ling Family forces.
Not to mention that even if his Ling Family were to be eradicated today, he would still prefer to have someone of his distinguished level take charge, rather than a fu*cking sheep who had a stroke of luck.
With these thoughts in mind, he was fully immersed into his killing spree while Patriarch Cao continued with his show.

As if awakened to the current situation one of the many generals of the United Front seemed to have found that there was no other way but to break into the pain of the Great Elder and plead for his help.

After the first one, it wasn't difficult to find a second one, and then a third one, and finally for everyone to be of the same mind.

Boosting his scream with his internal energy Patriarch Cao launched towards his enemy full of anger, rage, and determination.
It was finally the time for him to revenge his people, it was finally the time for him to finish the treacherous Ling Family.
He had thought that he had found an equal partner to share the country and the ruling, only to be stabbed on the back.
There was no way he could live under the same sky as these treacherous bastards, mostly because he would never know and realize when they would stab him on the back once again.
As for Patriarch Ling, he was only a bit startled hearing the scream of the bastard that had betrayed his trust, destroyed his plans, and was exterminating his family.
'This motherfu*cker had acted too fast! Would it kill him to take a bit more time!? He was close to opening an escape route for his Ling Family!
