Chapter 28 - Small Trip!

Two more days have already passed since she arrived at this distant island with her kidnapper. Jennifer was irritated with the passing days because there's literally nothing for her to do.

Moreover, it wasn't easy to just sit idle and chit-chat. In the past few days, all she did was either sleep and eat. There was no other source of entertainment other than web series on television.

Just when Javier noticed that she was bored to her death and killing time wasn't as smooth as he earlier thought, he decided to bring her to the place where she was craving to go.

The top big rock, to witness!

It was not exactly an island as she thinks but it was clearly visible from their respective place. Jennifer used to see it every time she fell asleep, hoping that there must be something through which she could escape.

At last, the day she was waiting to finally arrive. Javier agreed to take her to the place she is longing to go for so many days! freeweb(n)ovel.co(m)

Standing in front of her dressing table, Jennifer looked at her face and smiled. The smile was almost reaching her ears and the excitement level can't be estimated.

'I hope that there will be something that.. gives me any hope that I can escape from this island.'

Finally, Jennifer stepped out of her bedroom but the entire house was empty. Finding no one in the living room, or in the kitchen, she knew they must have been ready before her and waiting for her arrival at the coast.

Making her way down the villa, Jennifer stepped on the beach when her eyes fell on the two figures. 'There they're..'

Walking closer to them, Jennifer came in view of Javier and Ellen. Ellen who first noted her presence, nod her head, "Nice to meet you, Ms. Taylor."

"Same here. It has already been two days." Once again he shakes his head but in his eye, she can already see that he was happy.

'Must be because I never asked or revealed anything that he told me related to this island or Javier. Hmm, I'm such a secret keeper.' Jennifer giggled in her own heart and looked at what the two men were currently doing in the sea.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She finally asked and at the same time, Javier turned around to answer her, "The place is quite distant and there is no route to go there through the land. We can't swim for so long, so I'm bringing my small motorboat to travel there."

It was already showing for her to know that they will be taking the motorboat to the place. "Will it be safe? I mean you just said that it is not on land.."

A smile curved on his face when he replied, "Yes! I have been there many times and there is something.. that I will show you."

His eyes were indicating to her that they are for sure going to have some adventure. It was already evident but somewhat it scared her as well.

"What is it?" Jennifer curiously asked but no one answered back because everyone's attention was now shifted back to the motorboat that arrived.

It was a big, white boat with an engine. She was glad that they won't have to use their hands to drive it to the edge. Moreover, there is enough space for a few of them to sit.

Her face was gleaming in happiness. The sun's breach right falling on her face and Javier simply took a glance and shifted his attention back to the boat that Ellen brought.

"Here it is, Sir. Please hop in." He nodded his head as looked back at Jennifer who was standing in white plain dress. "Come, let us go inside."

"I hope that it will not shrink in deepwater." Her mind was still not able to process that she will be riding a motorboat here now.

Javier offered his hand to her which she took after a lot of mental conflicts. Was it alright for him to touch her hand? But he was doing so to help her get on the boat, right? She shouldn't think much about it.

With these questions, she convinced her heart and mind to act accordingly and gave her hand forward to him where he brought her inside the place.

It was an open-roof place, with Ellen on the steering wheel. It was hard, and the sitting space made it easier to enjoy the view on the way to the big mountain.

"Just sit right. Enjoy the generic scenery and water.. it will be worth waiting for it." With this, Ellen started the boat.

They started riding on their way to the big rock, the mountain which she can see already but now deeply at notice, she saw how far it was. Her eyes averted to the water, seeing her own face in it.

It was crystal clear to watch herself. Jennifer brought her hand near the water and splashed it a little bit to find that it was still cold despite the warm and scornful bright light.

"Why is the water so cold?" Jennifer asked with a questioning look on her face.

Javier, who also sat on the side, answered lazily, "Don't know. Never tried to find out ever. It might because there must be something inside the sea."

That explanation didn't make her satisfied and knew that he was just making the stories up.

Flapping her hair, Jennifer now looked at the green view around her. The sea, large mountains through which they passed, and just how far they moved from the beach, the sunlight seemed to have disappeared with time.

After twenty minutes, they finally arrived at the large rock she saw. Lifting her eyes, she looked at it from top to bottom, left to right, and found it hard to imagine how they would walk to the top.

"How.. are we going to climb up now?" The questions slipped out of her mouth when he replied.

"Through legs obviously."

Jennifer- "..."
