Under their gazes, Dealkandrax started chanting a mantra using an unknown language.
Despite doesn't know exactly what he needs to expect from this mantra, Rex cuts through the air like a meteor and aimed his claws, imbued with Unholy Claws of the Reaper skill right at Gistella.
Just like he anticipated, the cursed energy was trying to resist him as he got closer.

Now it was clear to them that the formation is a summoning formation.
Since Dealkandrax only needed time to extract the curse from Gistella, he decided to use this cursed spell to stall them. Rex knows that is its game plan, and he was not going to let it succeed.
"Oh, are we a team now?" Calidora teased, putting her back against Rex's.
Gritting his teeth, feeling annoyed that he was forced to rely on Calidora at this time, Rex suppressed his anger, "Just focus or you're not going to get anything from me, I reckon you're very excited about your request"

Many of them are varying in appearance, and some are drastically different.
Some are shaped like humanoid creatures with weird postures and broken faces, while some take a more disgusting approach such as having tentacles heads with elongated long tongues, or even multiple limbs with intestines pouring out of their open stomachs.
If not for Rex and Calidora that are the ones here, others' would tremble in absolute fear.
Even their combination of cursed energy turns into a cloud of dark bronze energy, suffocating the air around them and painting the entire place in a hell-like portrait, a stuff of nightmare for many.

Rex and Calidora's energies exploded as they lower their stances at ready.
Without the slightest bit of hesitation, Calidora's eyes glowed as the ground in front of them cracked before she flaps her wings violently, cutting through the swarm of cursed creatures like an arrow.

Not one of them suffer an easy death, they were ripped to shreds by Calidora's claws.
But that is to be expected for having control of the Twelft-Epiphany Natural Curse that is also inside of her, these lower-epiphany curses are nothing for Calidora's cursed and lethal claws.
On the back, Rex followed closely from behind, taking care of the ones that survived.
Just then out of nowhere, he looks up when he finds the spot around the two of them darkened, and he witnessed hundreds of cursed creatures leaping onto them, throwing themselves to buy more time.

Not intending to leave everything to Calidora, Rex jumped above her.
Spreading both of his arms to the side, his eyes then glowed with an unnatural color of blue as water mana started to cloak his entire body, creating a thin layer of aqua, "Great Water Spell, Splashing Cocoon..."

Rex's body was enveloped with a bubble before it explodes, splashing the cursed creatures.
Immediately after he does that, a streak of black lightning started to sizzle around his body like a serpent, and even covered his crimson eyes with blitzes of black electricity, "Blitzing Cry!"

Black lightning strikes stab out of Rex's body and hits the cursed creatures around him.
On top of that, thanks to the Splash Cocoon spell that he does earlier, the black lightning finds it easy to spreads from one cursed creature to the other, eventually electrocuting hundreds of cursed creatures in an instant.
'Not enough, they are cursed creatures, most of them will survive' Rex thought.
As these are not regular cursed creatures, the lower-epiphany ones that are easily killed, Rex knows that the majority of them are going to recover from being paralyzed by his black lightning. But that is not a problem for him.
"Black Field Orko!" Rex chanted once again, turning the ground beneath him black.
Countless black lightning tentacles burst out of the ground, gripping a dozen or more cursed creatures each. It was also perfect thanks to the fact that his mana has been increased dramatically, and the number of black lightning tentacles he can summon was increased by more than tenfold.
Rex didn't need to kill them all in one swoop, he only needs to restrain them.

Rex and Calidora's body slowly turns into lightning particle and disappeared from the place. Soon enough, two lightning strikes descend down from the sky again, before the two of them reappeared.
But now, the two have a clear path to Dealkandrax thanks to that Pneuma Spell.
Since Rex hasn't been using his lightning powers lately due to the enemies he has fought, he's not confident that he was able to teleport Calidora alongside him, knowing full well that she doesn't have any lightning affinity which makes it way harder.
On top of that, he summoned two instead of one, taking a huge chunk of his spirit energy.
Although that was the case, he succeeded in doing that, mainly due to his enhanced focus as the Time Limit is slowly running out. It was a necessary pressure for his mind to be pushed to the limit.
Now the path is clear, it's time for the finality of this battle.

Calidora gathered as much Blood Energy as she can and created a huge ball of blood above her head, it was increasing in size rapidly, and it slowed down its expansion when it reaches about the size of an air balloon.
Instantly after, she threw the ball of blood straight at Dealkandrax.
"Ancient Blood Magic, Ecliptic Sphere of Blood!"
Upon feeling the incoming attack, Dealkandrax, who is focusing on the extraction process that has reached 87% glance back and finds a huge ball of blood expanding in its vision. In an attempt to stop it, Dealkandrax summoned 12 coffins from the ground.
Each of the coffins acts as a shield, slowing the huge ball of blood.
As the coffins are dense with cursed energy, the huge ball of blood only managed to pierce through seven of them. But what Dealkandrax was not expecting was Rex, dashing right behind the huge ball of blood.
Dealkandrax didn't sense him at all due to focusing on the huge ball of blood.

Rex's entire energy burst forth into a black hole of power that instead of pulling, it pushes everything away powerfully. Knowing that this is his last chance, he didn't pull back any of his power despite threatening to expose his location.

Rex's eyes bulged when he saw the time limit, he quickly takes out the Annulment Elixir from his inventory and shattered it instantly. With his claws soaked with the liquid of the elixir, he dashed, intending to cut the link and free Gistella.
At the sight of Rex coming to save her, Gistella smiled lightly and muttered his name.
Just then, someone came and stands in front of him, blocking his way to reach Gistella.
