Evelyn arrived back at the university at dawn after making a quick stop at Rex's old place, Rex is not beside her as he was in his old place tending to Norman while she went back to the university.

There's a fancy shopping bag in her hand with a branded logo on it as she makes her way through the university's hall, she grabs it in the only mall in sector 3E.

While walking, the windows around the university started to brighten.
The sound of chirping birds can be heard alongside the dawn sky, another day is already starting and Evelyn's eyes are tired and in need of sleep.
Upon arriving at Rex's room, Stuart already waited for her outside.
"Did Rex tell you to wait for me?", Evelyn asks nonchalantly.
Hearing this, Stuart bowed slightly before he replied, "Yes, Sir Rex already notify me"
"Have you prepared a room for me? I really need some quick shut-eye before Kyran comes back", Evelyn said as Stuart opens the door for her.
But before Stuart can reply, Evelyn stopped when she saw a woman standing in front of her.
The woman is already aged as can be seen through the wrinkles on her face, she's also surprised to see Evelyn walks inside the room.
"Madam, Did I wake you up?", Stuart greeted politely.
Mrs. Greene glanced at Stuart before tapping Stuart's shoulder lightly, "Oh, no you didn't. I just thought of taking a morning walk in the garden, Adhara said it's quite lovely"
'Madam?', Evelyn thought with a frown.
But she soon realized who the woman is as she puts on her brightest smile, "Mrs. Greene, it's a great luck meeting such a wonderful woman like you this early in the morning"
"I'm flattered, but I'm already of age", Mrs. Greene replied shyly.
Evelyn shakes her head and said, "Oh, no... you're still stunning in spite of your age"
"My apologies but do I know you?", Mrs. Greene asks.
After exchanging pleasantries, Evelyn then introduced herself with a polite smile, "I'm Rex's friend at this university, my name is Evelyn"
"What a wonderful name for a gorgeous woman like you, I thought you were Rex's other girlfriend", Mrs. Greene said with a laugh making Evelyn's expression redden.
Evelyn then gives Mrs. Greene the bag she's holding,
Seeing this, Mrs. Greene was confused but her eyes lit up brightly upon seeing the brand logo on the bag, "What's this for Evelyn?"
"I heard Rex's parents are here, this is just a meeting present for me", Evelyn replied.
Although it's not much of a present for an Awakened of Evelyn's caliber, this is still a limited edition bag costing tens of thousands of dollars that she picked up on her way back.
She can just tell one of her men to buy it for her, but she didn't.
Mrs. Greene smiles wider upon hearing this as she takes the bag from Evelyn, "You didn't have to, but thank you Evelyn. I'll accept this and make sure to mention to Rex that you made my day", she then winks playfully.
"Are you coming inside?", Mrs. Greene asks when she realized that Evelyn is still outside.
Hearing this, Evelyn glanced at Stuart.
Stuart leans closer to Evelyn's ear before he whispers, "The rooms are occupied, Adhara is in the training ground but it's not appropriate for you to sleep in her and Rex's bedroom"
"I came here to give you that present, but I'll have to get going now", Evelyn said to Mrs. Greene.
But when Evelyn was about to went back to her room, Mrs. Greene suddenly grabbed her hand and out of nowhere touches Evelyn's forehead.
"Have you been sleeping well? It's not good for your body to stay up all night", she said.
This caught Evelyn off guard but she soon recovers and smiles, "I feel a bit weak but one good sleep will take care of it, thank you for your concern, Mrs. Greene"
After saying that, Evelyn left before Stuart said, "May I accompany you, madam?"
"Yes, please. The students are going to crowd me if they see me without my husband", Mrs. Greene replied with a slight chuckle.
Meanwhile,
Rex puts down the unconscious Norman before he looks around the place.
'This place is quite destroyed, their fight seems to be very fierce', Rex thought as he saw the claw marks in this place, the stench of blood is not present but the air in here feels a bit stuffy.
But he's not bothered as he will fix this place later,
After looking around the place filled with the battle scars from the fight between Edward and Kyran, Rex's eyes then landed on the unconscious Norman on the wooden floor.

Rex instantly control his sky-black lightning mana to grab the grey ball, and with a jolt of his mind, the grey ball got sucked out of Norman's head.

"Haah... Fuck!", Rex cursed as he looks at the grey ball on the wooden floor.
Albeit at the end of the time limit, he manages to take the grey ball from Norman's head just in time before the grey ball fry Norman's brain.
Upon getting taken out of Norman's head, the grey ball got canceled.
It started to dissipate into mana slowly beside Rex,
Rex then glances at Norman and found that his seizures stop and his breathing becomes calm again, with a sigh Rex lies to the ground tiredly.
His mind is ringing in pain as the process puts a heavy mental burden on him.
The grey ball is a spell conjured by a Mind Elementalist, so it also strains Rex's mind just to try approaching it to cancel the spell.
But nevertheless, Rex manages to do it.
'The memory better be worth it', Rex thought as he takes a moment's break.

Adhara got back from the training ground with her entire body covered with sweat, she wanted to take a shower to rinse off the stickiness of her body,
She opens the door to Rex's room before she saw Mrs. Greene was also about to go out.
"Adhara! You're back from training?", Mrs. Greene asks with a smile.
Hearing this, Adhara smiles lightly before she said, "Yes, I'm going to take a shower now. How's the garden? It's refreshing right?"
"You're right, the air there is very comforting", Mrs. Greene replied while nodding her head.
But while they're talking, Adhara's eyes fall onto Mrs. Greene's hand that is holding somekind of a bento box, "Are you going to eat outside?"
"Oh, this? It's not for me", Mrs. Greene replied.
She then continues, "Rex's friend came by a couple of hours ago, she's so kind and even give me a branded bag! But I noticed that she seems to not feeling well, so I'm bringing this food for her"
"Her?", Adhara mumbles with a frown.
Mrs. Greene then added with a smile, "Yes, her! She goes by the name Evelyn, did you know her?"
