Chapter 556 - Jasmine Goes To School
August came quickly. The reviews from Fu Ling's latest game were mostly positive and his company made a lot of profits just like FJ.
This month, the FJ Autumn Fashion show came and went. This year's show lasted for 3 days. At last, FangSu joined as a model in the show and she didn't stop making noise about it even after the event ended.
She was so excited to get a place and not just that, every year, she could model on the event and also help with the promotion of the newly released designs.
At the end of that month, The Huang family followed the Fu family to go back to Jia Li's hometown and pay respect to her late parents.
After the Grand visit, the Huang family was hosted by the Fu Family in the Villa they had close to Jia Li's hometown and there, they learned that Grandfather Fu's maternal home was situated in the same location.
In September, more important events took place.
Jasmine was sent to Kindergarten, Jia Li and Fu Hua celebrated their third wedding anniversary and the Fu family was greatly preparing for the 80th Grand birthday party for Grandfather Fu, which will be held in the next month.
In the last week of August, mostly the preparation for Jasmine's school was done. Jia Li kept telling the little girl about attending Kindergarten soon.
She kept singing it like a song to her.
"Jasmine, you will be going to school soon. There, you will learn so many things and make new friends."
"Jasmine, I bought a backpack and a lunch box for your schooling today."
"Jasmine, I'm going to the big mall to shop for more of your school things, do you want to come with me?"
Jia Li kept talking about the school with the little girl, so when the time comes to send her to school, she wouldn't fret about it.
One afternoon when Jia Li took the little girl to her tiny house to practice some chores, the little asked, "Mummy, can I take my house to school?"
Instead of replying her, Jia Li asked back, "What do you think? Do you think you can lift your house and carry it to school?"
Jasmine was silent for a few seconds before replying, "No, the house is big, I can't lift it."
"Good girl. You can't uproot your house and take it to school." Jia Li said while rubbing her hair with q smile.
"Mummy, can I take Paco with me?" Jasmine asked enthusiastically. She really wanted to know if she can be permitted to take her pet to school.
She still can't get over the dog's cuteness and furs. While coming to her house, she didn't forget to bring him along.
"No, you can't take him to school but you can take Sofia to school." Jia Li replied.
Sofia was the name of Jasmine's Doll.
"Okay, thank you, mummy!" Jasmine said obediently without making any trouble.
"Come, let's cook a simple dish and pick some flowers for everyone." Jia Li said to the little girl.
After helping the little girl to cook a small bowl of stir-fried rice, they ate and did the dishes cleanup before going out of the house to pick so flowers for everyone.
After receiving flowers from the little girl, the Fu family thanked her and planted kisses on her face.
The weekend before the Day Jasmine would finally go to school, Jia Li and Fu Hua spent a lot of time with her. They shopped with her and took her to fun places. At night, they would read her bedtime stories.
Finally, Monday came. The little girl was excited about going to school but her mother who always talked about going to school was not.
Jia Li had mixed feelings about sending her daughter off to school. She still couldn't trust leaving her daughter in the hands of anyone outside the Fu family.
"Darling, should we postpone Jasmine's schooling till she turns 3, I feel that she is too young to go out there and mix with other people." Jia Li had said to Fu Hua who was dressing the little girl in new clothes for school.
Fu Hua knew she was feeling insecure but he found her funny to only bring the matter up, today of all the days.
"Sweetheart, I know you are feeling not quite sure about all these now that we have to watch out little Princess go to school, but you just have to see things differently now. See this as a big opportunity to help Da Xia overcome her fears of interacting with people."
Jia Li sighed and said, "I know but still, I wish she can stay with me. Look at her height. She is small, smart and beautiful, I just want to keep her by my side for a little while."
"You go to work from Mondays to Fridays and the only time you get to see her is around 4-5 pm on some occasions. If she stays at home, what difference would it make?" Fu Hua asked.
Indeed, it wouldn't make a difference since Jia Li would still go to work and not get to see her daughter till she returned home from work, but her staying at home, made her feel secure.
After breakfast, the Fu family who long decided to give the little a Grand entrance in her new school, all number into their cars, and got ready to take the little girl to school.
It was such a magnificent sight to see the entire Fu family line up in their cars just to send their little princess to school.
Jia Li was almost in tears when Jasmine finally left her arms and went to her new teacher. Fu Hua had to hug her from the side and part her back in comfort.
The school's owner who was present to receive the little princess of the Fu family asked Jia Li and Fu Hua to come along, so they can see Jasmine's classroom and her classmates.
This little considerate tour helped to set Jia Li's heart at ease, even though she had toured the school before now.
