Chapter 463 - Scout For Models
FJ is yet to announce to the public about the new idea with their newbies, and the newbies were yet to find out about their idea as well. So basically, they were just working hard as normal with an extra effort.
Fu Hua spoke with FJ's board of directors about coming up with something their newbies would do to attract the attention and interest of the public, and they decided that there will be a competition for the Top 10 newbies to showcase their capabilities.
And the Top 3 out of that competition, will be given a chance to partake in a huge project in the future, plus, they would receive an award ???? from FJ and also an international recognition.
Fu Hua and his Executive board of directors, decided to fix a date in December to hold the big show abd they waited until the 3rd week of October to notify the creative arts department about their decisions.
After Sunny got the final statement from Fu Hua directly, she announced to all the newbies about the news, so they could start getting prepared.
Sunny announced to them, that they would each design and make 5 dresses, and they should also prepare a name of their collection, so in total, 50 pieces of new dresses, will be displayed on the day of the show.
The thing about this competition, was that all the designers partaking in it would have to fight for resources which includes materials, models that will wear their clothes, and other things.
The workspace was not a problem, because Sunny and her assistant creative directors, made 10 rooms available for the newbies to work in.
Now, this was bound to be a very competitive show which will keep the newbies up on their toes to deliver something breathtaking.
FJ has made everything available, now it was left for the newbies to make use of them and use the resources to their own advantage.
The next day, the newbies moved into their new workspace which they would only occupy from now till the end of the show.
Jia Li could smell stress on the way. Before getting into FJ, she had no idea that there was nothing like rest in their log sheet, and Fu Hua didn't tell her that there was no break here.
Jia Li and her colleagues didn't see themselves fighting for resources in the course of this competition, but now that it looks like what they would have to do, everyone disbanded their friendship till the competition comes to an end. To the newbies now, they saw each other as competitors, and not colleagues.
Once again, Sunny and her assistant creative art directors had to supervise 3 students each, with one of them taking 4 students. And as usual, Sunny picked Jia Li, since she has chosen to mentor her directly.
Marié has always been Chyou's favorite person, while the male creative director, picked Linda. And like that, they all picked a total of 5 people to oversee during the course of the competition.
First and foremost, the newbies have to choose a theme for their collection, and probably pick a name for their collection before designing, or designing before picking a name for their collection.
The newbies were given 4 days to finish their illustration and submit it to their Superiors for review, and after it has been approved, they could now start fighting for resources.
During dinner, Jia Li looked like she has been stressed and being worried about her, Grandfather Fu asked her if she was being bullied by Fu Hua.
"Grandfather, my colleagues, and I are in a huge competition that is yet to be announced to everybody. Now, we have to fight for resources to make our dress, and also persuade models to wear them on that day." Jia Li replied in a tired tone. She was already exhausted from coming up with a few designs.
This was the first time Jia Li had to complain about work in front of the whole family, and this means that she was really stressed. Fu Hua who was watching the little bun feed herself chose to remain quiet.
"Sister-in-law, are you looking for models? I will model for you, what kind of show is that?." FangSu asked with a smile.
"I will model for you too, just give me the date for the show, so my assistant can add it to my schedule." Fu Meixu replied.
"You both want to want to model for me?." Jia Li asked with a surprised gaze on FangSu and Fu Meixu, because she didn't think they would want to wear her clothes on that kind of competition.
"Yes, why wouldn't we want to wear your clothes? Just tell us the kind of show it is, so we can be prepared." FangSu said.
"I will definitely clear up my schedule if there is anything on that day." Fu Meixu replied.
Jia Li looked to be in a dilemma because she doesn't think they would be as enthusiastic as now when they hear the kind of show it is.
Seeing how everybody was waiting for her to speak, and the initiator of the whole deal wasn't helping her, she was forced to speak.
"Actually, it's an internal competition in FJ."
"What!" FangSu and Fu Meixu both exclaimed in surprise, as they didn't expect her to tell them that kind of thing.
How could an A-list celebrity, and an International model, model in that kind of small competition, they may end up getting laughed at?
"Why are you both screaming, what is wrong now?." Fu Hee asked with a frown.
"Aunty is just that this competition is so little for us to partake in. If it was something huge, there wouldn't be a problem accepting it, but it is not beneficial to my image especially, and my agency won't accept it. But Jia Li doesn't have to worry about getting models, because I will help her get good ones to use for her competition." Fu Meixu replied.
"What do you mean by that, you just accepted to model for her, why are you turning her down now?.." Fu Geming asked while staring at his daughter angrily.
