Chapter 229 - So Much For Her
Jia Li looked like a cute little doll by the time she was all dolled up. Fu Hua was satisfied with her looks and made payments before taking her out.
Jia Li complained that she was hungry after the soldier that came out with them, opened the car door for them and they got inside the back seat.
Fu Hua brought out a packet of Almond nuts from one of the compartments and gave it to her.
"When did you put this here?" Jia Li asked in surprise as she took the packets of almond nuts from him.
"In the morning." Fu Hua replied. Fu Hua saw the surprise sitting on her face and explained further...
"I knew you would be hungry and since I didn't want you to eat anything unhealthy, I had to bring it along."
Jia Li was surprised that he came prepared and he has ended up ruining her chances of eating hamburgers. She knew there was no way he would allow her to eat junk food and one with high calories but she was craving a lot of things that were unhealthy, which left her unsatisfied.
Jia Li and Fu Hua went back to their suit and Fu Hua knowing that his little wife was unhappy with his smart moves on her, he orders some food for her to fill her up.
Jia Li felt delighted seeing the food order and ate to her satisfaction. As Fu Hua watched her eat, he reminded her, "If you eat too much, I will cancel our date tonight."
His threat worked because Jia Li did not eat too much while thinking she had nothing to lose, since she would still get to eat again during their date.
Around 5 PM, they both got dressed and left their suite for their date. Fu Hua prepared a candlelight dinner for them both.
It was a romantic feeling with the soft love music playing in the background with lovers sitting on a table of 2 and chatting happily with each other.
Fu Hua and Jia Li's coat ???? were taken from them before try were ushered to their table.
After Jia Li and Fu Hua settled down on their table, the order Fu Hua made already while booking the place, arrived.
There was a small red velvet and chocolate cake with 'Happy Valentine's Day' written on it.
Seeing the food, wine, chocolates, cake ???? some other things served to them, Jia Li was overjoyed. Fu Hua held back from calling her a glutton when he saw how excited she was.
"Thank you! Happy Valentine!" Jia Li said with gratitude.
"Happy Valentine!" Fu Hua said as he raised his wine glass and made a toast to each other.
Jia Li enjoyed their candlelight romantic Valentine's dinner with Fu Hua. When they were about to leave, Jia Li ordered for the cake and chocolates to be packed away for her, as she couldn't allow them to waste.
Jia Li didn't keep the cake and chocolates for herself and instead, she gave them to the soldiers that came with them to California.
Fu Hua liked her gesture as he was even worried about her health if she kept them all to herself.
From the restaurant, they went on a movie date. Jia Li felt excited as this was going to be her first cinema experience and that too with Fu Hua.
The movie Fu Hua purchased tickets for was a romantic love movie, which was perfect for a day like this.
Fu Hua didn't buy a cup of hot coffee, popcorn, or coke for Jia Li instead, he brought her packets of Almond nuts along, which she didn't even touch because she was full after the dinner.
While watching the movie, Fu Hua would at times, get touchy with her, and Jia Li would be a little distracted and would manage to hit his hands off.
Because the lights in the room were dimmed, Fu Hua wasn't bothered that anyone would see them. Well even if they were seen, he wouldn't bat an eye.
Finally, when the hot movie was over, Jia Li asked him why he purchased tickets for that kind of movie.
"Don't you like it?" Fu Hua asked.
"It's not what I mean." Jia Li said and then stopped talking.
When they got to their hotel suite, Jia Li walked into the bedroom and saw the bed decorated with red rose ???? petals in a heart shape and there was a big fancy paper bag in the center of the heart.
Jia Li took quick steps towards the bed and got a hold of the gift bag that had some weight. She opened the paper bag without thinking and saw a lot of goodies there.
Things like perfume, a box of an expensive pendant customized for her, chocolates, cookies, a limited edition of FJ's designer bag and matching shoe, some wads of cash in dollars ???? and a black card with limitless use.
Jia Li's eyes almost popped out of her eye sockets because the gifts were too much for her.
"Do you like them?" Fu Hua asked as he wakes into the room with his hands in his pockets.
"This is too much for me, how could you do so much for me?" Jia Li asked as she started to tear up.
"Don't cry, it's nothing. I have lots of money, so I should at least be able to provide the basic things my wife needs." Fu Hua said as he came to her side and helped her up to sit on the bed.
"I feel so bad for not preparing anything for you." Jia Li said in a sad tone.
"I don't need you to buy things for me, I won't accept it." Fu Hua said. He wouldn't feel happy for Jia Li to spend her money to get him things, he felt it would be like he was bullying her.
What a weird way to think.
"Then, tell me what you want as a gift, I can't stand not doing anything for you." Jia Li said while looking him in the eyes.
"All I need from you is good s*x." Fu Hua said with a smile as he caressed her soft cheeks.
What a shameless demand from Fu Hua! ????
