Chapter 151 - [Bonus ] Fu Hua Kisses Jia Li In The Car
After two rings, the call was answered.
"Hey, Jia Li!" The familiar male voice said as soon as he answered the call.
"Brother Huan." Jia Li called out.
"How are you?" Li Huan asked in his usual gentle tone.
"I'm fine. I'm sorry for not answering your call in the morning." Jia Li said in an apologetic tone.
"There is no problem. How are your studies, are you almost done with school?" Li Huan asked.
"Yes. I only have my final projects to work on, before graduation." Jia Li replied.
"That's cool."
"Brother Huan, I have something to talk to you about." Jia Li said as she fiddled with her fingers because she was a bit nervous.
"Did you encounter any problem, do you need my help with something?" Li Huan asked as he became worried for Jia Li.
"No, it's not that... I..." Jia Li was still trying to go to explain her current status, and everything that had happened since over two months ago, and Li Huan was paying attention to her when he heard a command from his direct boss.
"Li Huan, see me in my office now!" His boss said as he walked past him with heavy steps.
Li Huan who was still on a call with Jia Li had to apologize to her.
"Jia Li, we will talk next time, my boss just called for me." Li Huan explained.
"Oh! Did I get you into trouble?" Jia Li asked in a worried tone.
"Not at all, he probably needs me for urgent work." Li Huan replied.
"Okay, bye." Jia Li said and terminated the call after hearing his response.
After ending the conversation with Jia Li, Li Huan left his work desk and quickly went to see his boss. When he got to the office, he knocked.
"Come in." The middle-aged voice said from inside his office.
Li Huan opened the door and walked in after closing the door behind him. He greeted his Boss respectfully and waited for him to talk.
"The company will be sending me to a branch in another country, and they need someone from under me to fill in my position." His Boss said with a serious gaze at him.
Li Huan didn't know what his Boss was getting at, and he didn't want to conclude with the little idea that just formed in his head, so he patiently waited for his Boss to continue.
"The company has their eyes on someone, but I want you to fill in my position, but before then you will have to prove you're a better choice. Take these files on my desk and complete all the tasks as soon as possible. You will be judged by your efficiency, accuracy, and some other things." His Boss said while pointing to the files that were stacked on one corner of his work table.
Li Huan came back to his senses as a smile appeared on his face. He felt so happy but managed to take it in.
He thanked his boss and picked up the documents he pointed at. Then as he was about to leave, his boss said to him, "Good luck."
Li Huan was all smiles when he returned to his desk. He immediately finished the work he had at hand, before proceeding to go through the files he had just received.
He felt so happy that he wanted to share this with Jia Li and his mother, but he refrained from doing that, as he only wanted to give them the news of his promotion when the matter was concluded.

While Jia Li was away, Fu Hua called the moving company to move their things over to their new house.
And after things has been settled in the new house, Fu Hua left the house and drove towards Jia Li's school.
Jia Li was almost close to the gates when she received a call from Fu Hua.
"Are you through?" He asked directly.
"Yes." Jia Li replied.
"Okay, I'm coming to your school, I will be there in two minutes." Fu Hua said to her.
"Oh...okay" Jia Li responded.
His words were enough for her to know he was coming to pick her up. She wondered if she took so long in school, that he got uncomfortable and had to come to pick her up.
After the call, Fu Hua sped up, and in 2 minutes, he was already at the school gate.
Jia Li saw the familiar sports car, and a smile appeared on her face as she walked towards it.
After setting herself in the front passenger seat, Fu Hua asked for a kiss.
"Won't you give your husband a kiss?" Fu Hua asked with raised brows.
Jia Li stared at him with a confused look, before looking away after she got his message. She acted like she didn't understand what he said, and turned to pull the seatbelt.
"Since you don't want to give me a kiss, then I would have to get it myself." Fu Hua said with a smiling gaze.
Immediately Jia Li finished securing her seatbelt, Fu Hua removed his seatbelt and leaned over to kiss her, as she raised her head.
Jia Li was caught unaware by the kiss and remained static for a while. She didn't recover till Fu Hua moved away from her.
She blinked her eyes and then glanced to look outside the rolled-up windows.
Fu Hua smiled at her cuteness and secured his seatbelt while saying to her, "The glass is tinted."
Jia Li sighed in relief thanks to Fu Hua's reminder. Initially, she was worried that people could see them.
Fu Hua didn't say anything more. He ignited the engine and drove off. Some minutes later, he parked in front of an expensive restaurant.
"Let's eat lunch." Fu Hua said before getting out of the car.
Jia Li felt relaxed inside, because she was already very hungry, and didn't think she would have the energy to cook anything when they got home. And luckily for her, they were eating lunch outside.
After lunch, Fu Hua drove straight to a high-end boutique to shop for short skirts for Jia Li. His act amazed Jia Li because she didn't know he would keep to his words about getting her short skirts.
