His mastery of the shadow element had increased a lot since he created the previous technique. He thought about the idea more carefully this time. He wanted to focus on creating a technique that took longer to cast, had a ritual, and required a lot more energy, but in exchange, its effects were powerful enough to break the limits of the previous Spell.
