Chapter 114: A Promise (3)

Many speculations and discussions were waged, the direct impact being the surging popularity of champagne roses. The product, already a big seller, was once again sold out, and the demand outstripped the supply.

Ye Sui also saw this post. She didn’t try to guess the customer’s identity. Instead, she was more curious about what such an expensive bouquet would look like?

Ye Sui soon stopped thinking about it because she received a phone call from Chen Shu. He told her that he would come home early tonight, and he had a gift for her.

Chen Shu mentioned that after Ye Sui won the best actress award at the Berlin Film Festival, he had not given her a congratulatory gift. After deliberating for a long time, the gift would be delivered tonight.

Because of Chen Shu’s words, Ye Sui was in a good mood all day.

Ye Sui finished her work and went back home. Opening the door, she saw Chen Shu sitting in the living room. When he heard the door opening, he looked at Ye Sui with a smile.

Chen Shu stood up and said, “Come with me.”

Ye Sui followed him while having butterflies in her stomach. They went to Chen Shu’s room. The door was closed, and there seemed to be no light in it.

Chen Shu opened the door, and Ye Sui looked over. The room was very dark, with only a small light on the table. It dimly illuminated a corner.

Ye Sui noticed a box on the table, which seemed to be printed with the logo of Gaoshe Garden. Ye Sui’s heart skipped a beat. Why did Chen Shu send her the flowers of Gaoshe Garden?

Ye Sui also thought of the sky-high-priced bouquet that had been discussed on the Internet recently. Could it be...

At this time, Chen Shu’s deep voice sounded in the dark room, with a nightmarishly bewitching tone, “Open it and take a look.”

Ye Sui stopped thinking. She steadied her mood, stepped forward, and opened the box. When she looked down, she was shocked still.

The box contained a bunch of different colors of flowers. At first glance, it seemed as if a small sea of flowers had appeared in front of her. The incredible artistry was eye-catching and awe-inspiring.

Ye Sui didn’t take a close look at the bouquet, noticing that the flowers were decorated with small light bulbs.

The light bulbs were tiny and were scattered in between the flowers. Since the lamp was next to it, the lights on the bouquet were not prominent.

At some point, Chen Shu walked to Ye Sui’s side. He suddenly stretched out his hand, placing it on the switch. With a click, the lamp on the table dimmed.

The surroundings were suddenly plunged into darkness.

Only the bouquet of flowers was lit with faint, tiny lights, and there was a bulb every few flowers. The light dotted the darkness like little stars in the vast universe.

The bouquet was surrounded by light, and in darkness, such a scenery was particularly artistic and dreamy.

Ye Sui’s heart shuddered. Before she could even wholly appreciate the bouquet, a smile crept on the corner of her mouth. She lowered her head again. This time, her gaze fell on the bouquet, and she carefully observed it.

The bouquet’s outer circle was cascaded with blue and purple flowers. The clear purple and vivid blue outlined an elegant and vague feeling.

Despite being just the outer circle of the bouquet, the mysterious beauty could already be seen.

The flowers continued to extend inside with a plain color. They were delicate and beautiful. Some of them were covered under blue flowers, showing only white petals.

Some of them covered the purple flowers and vaguely set off the mysterious dark-purple.

Ye Sui took a deep breath and moved her gaze to the middle. She was stunned. At the center was an everlasting champagne rose, elegant in color, noble, and charming.

Although there was only one rose, Ye Sui was still captivated. This eternal champagne rose was like the first snow at the beginning of the winter.

These colors were deeply interwoven, displaying an exotic and beautiful spectacle. They were romantic in their elegance and sweet in their loveliness.

Ye Sui couldn’t describe the bouquet with words because it was so beautiful that she even slowed her breathing a bit, worried about disturbing the extreme splendor.

Chen Shu’s clear voice sounded behind Ye Sui. “Do you like this Eternal Flower Gift Box?”

Ye Sui snapped back to her senses. So, the extravagant bouquet being discussed online was Chen Shu’s gift to her?

As she silently thought, she understood why Chen Shu had given her the Eternal Flower Gift Box.

The eternal flower would last for a long time, the flowering period would be prolonged, and the color and vividness would remain the same. The champagne rose symbolized single-minded and loyal love.

By doing so, Shen was telling her that their relationship would be the same and that it would be melted into their blood and bones for the rest of their lives.

In this life, they would never separate.

Ye Sui’s heart was full of indescribable feelings. She turned to look at Chen Shu and met his dark eyes. The light swept over his pupils, seemingly all converged into the most-reserved light and shadow.

Such a person, such a gift, such a night.

Ye Sui sniffed her nose as she stared at Chen Shu. Her voice was a little hoarse, and she said in a profound and earnest tone, enunciating every word, “I like it very much.”
