Chapter 105: Sycophant (1)

On the contrary, Ye Sui’s anger had subsided by now, but the fat child was still crying. The chubby child was the one who bullied people and had never been on the receiving end. This strange aunt was so fierce!

He rubbed his face with his chubby little hands, sat on the ground, and started making a ruckus. He shouted in a child-like voice, “Aunt is bad. Aunt bullied me.”

No matter whether a person or a ghost, an unreasonable child was always very effective. Ye Sui helplessly walked up to him, took a piece of candy out of her bag, and stuffed it into his hand.

The child stopped weeping. He peeked at Ye Sui’s face through his fingers and saw her gentle and beautiful look.

“Thank you, Aunt.” The fat boy peeled the candy cover and stuffed it into his mouth.

The fat child looked only five or six years old, and there seemed to be nothing wrong addressing Ye Sui as “Aunt”. However, Ye Sui, who was suddenly called Aunt Ye Sui, still inexplicably felt that her age had gone up.

Tonight, Ye Sui wanted to maintain her idol image, so she corrected the ghost-child. “Don’t call me Aunt; call me Older Sister instead.”

The fat child uttered reluctantly, “Older Sister.”

The word “Older Sister” touched Ye Sui’s heart as she caressed his fat-head. “You’re so smart.”

Chen Shu: “...”

On the way back, Chen Shu glanced at Ye Sui from time to time.

Although the matter was over, he still remembered Ye Sui’s look of regret after being disturbed by a ghost child in the street.

When they returned to their district, it was already very late. After getting out of the car, Ye Sui stuck to Chen Shu and squeezed her hand into his palm. She never saw a ghost along the way.

They safely arrived at their house.

Ye Sui opened the door and entered the house in silence. She changed into the warm cotton slippers at the door. Just as she was about to walk into her room, Chen Shu stopped and stood still in the living room. He finally broke the silence. “Wait a minute.”

Ye Sui stopped, turned, and looked over, not knowing what Chen Shu was going to say. She stood there, watching Chen Shu walk towards her.

Chen Shu slowly walked in front of Ye Sui and bent over while staring into her eyes. Their gazes met in the stillness of the night.

Then, the next second, Chen Shu bowed his head and stroked Ye Sui’s face. The distance between the two quickly narrowed.

Ye Sui froze as Chen Shu seized her lips and kissed them gently. A soft touch sucked the sweetness of her lips.

She was astonished by his sudden kiss.

Her throat quivered and gave a soft guttural sound. She circled her hands around his neck, teased the tip of his tongue, and kissed him back.

They kissed for a long time. Ye Sui raised her eyes, loosened her hug, and looked at Chen Shu, who finally explained it to her, “Didn’t you want to finish it?”

So when they came back, Chen Shu remembered to make it up to her.

Ye Sui’s eyebrows raised. Chen Shu was such a principled person. Even when he kissed someone, he was so serious and meticulous.

She stood on tiptoe and planted his face with kisses, imprinting all the remaining lipstick on her lips onto his cheek.

Chen Shu was dazzled by her impulsive behavior. He stood rooted in his place and was stunned for a while.

Ye Sui gave a genuine smile, turned around, and ran like a deer. As she neared to her room, she dropped some parting words.

“Good night, darling.” Her soft, moving voice sounded in their quite home, making the air full of sweetness

Chen Shu looked at Ye Sui’s back and touched his cheek. Her lips seemed to have left their warmth.

The door of Ye Sui’s room was closed, and there was only one person left in the living room.

Chen Shu also entered his room, took off his coat to take a bath, and stood in front of the mirror. But when he saw the lipstick marks on his face, he was stupefied again.

The dim light swept across the room, and the scene from before flashed in his mind.

Chen Shu’s lips turned into a smile. He stretched his arm and turned on the faucet. The warm water ran through his fingers as he wiped off the marks left on his face by Ye Sui.
