Chapter 86: Panagea(End)

After coming out of the store, Aakesh decided to return to the weapon store.

The manager was gently stroking the blade when he saw Aakesh entering the store. He, with a red face, stood up and put the weapon in its place.

"Adventurer, do you want to accept my deal?" The manager asked Aakesh as he could only think of this reason for returning to his store.

Aakesh nodded, making a smile erupt on the manager's face. But the next moment, the smile froze on his face after hearing what Aakesh said next.

"I have a new deal for you. Pay me one million low soul stones, and I would upgrade one of your weapons," Aakesh expressionlessly said.

"ARE YOU… are you joking with me? The highest any rare weapon would get sold for is around a million low soul stones, and you want me to pay that to you for upgrading the weapon?" The manager couldn't keep his calm for a moment, so he angrily shouted, but the next moment he calmed himself after seeing Aakesh's eyes turning cold.

"Yes, I would give you the best rare weapon in Wolfden," Aakesh returned to an expressionless face as he responded while pointing at the bow in one of the counters.

"No, I only have a lifetime saving of two million low soul stones, and you want me to risk half of it on a weapon. I can't do that to myself and my family," The manager refused as after working for decades, he had saved this money.

"Okay, I'll sell this offer to some other weapon store. I only came here because I've already made a deal with you once," Aakesh responded and turned around to leave.

"Wait!" The manager subconsciously yelled.

"What if the weapon fails to exceed the buying cost?" The manager asked as he didn't want to leave the deal since he had seen his ability after Aakesh upgraded the blade.

"It's up to you to sell. I'll give you the best weapon of the Wolfden," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

"Fine! But, I'll only pay you half of the amount-"

"No need! I want full payment of one million low soul stones after I upgrade your weapon," Aakesh bluntly responded, stopping the manager from further speaking.

"Fine!" The manager responded after staying silent for a few seconds. He didn't have the luxury to choose after seeing the resolute and expressionless eyes of Aakesh.

"Give me the bow?" Aakesh then asked for the bow he was upgrading.

The manager took out the bow from the counter and handed it to Aakesh with a determined face. He had already invested, so there was no point in thinking about it anymore.

"Give me a runestone too," Aakesh asked after taking the bow, causing a shocked look on the manager's face.

Runestone was a naturally built stone that could help in the enhancement of the weapon in different ways. It could enhance the physical properties or add a skill. The majority of runestones were used in weapons of epic and above grade. Rarely was a runestone used in rare-grade weaponry, so it was shocking for the manager.

"Are you sure? A single runestone cost 50,000 low soul stones," The manager asked after taking a deep breath.

"Yeah!" Aakesh nodded. The manager had already decided to go all the way, so he bent down and opened a locked drawer. There were three shining stones with a symbol of P drawn on it. He picked one of them, stood up, and handed it to Aakesh.

"Open the forge room!" Aakesh told the manager after taking the runestone.

Time flew by, and around three hours passed. With the passing of every second, the manager's heart turned heavy. He would stand up to check upon Aakesh, that why had he taken so much time, but he would sit down the next moment.

For the umpteenth time, he stood up thinking that he should check upon Aakesh, but the next moment, the thought of offending Aakesh appeared in his mind, so he sat down.

He had just sat down on his chair when the door of the forge room appeared, and Aakesh entered the store through that door with a pitch-black bow in his hand.

"Here, take it!" Aakesh then handed the bow to the manager.

The manager took the bow, but the next moment he stumbled to the ground due to the weight of the bow.

Aakesh ignored the manager's fall and explained the property he had added on the bow, "The bow would create a shield for the archer's protection every time they use it."

The manager stood up after using all of his force to pick up the bow. He then asked the help of Aakesh to put it on the counter as he wouldn't be able to. Aakesh nodded and casually put the bow on the counter the manager wanted.

The manager only looked at Aakesh with shock as he was only a Level 1 warrior, and still, he could casually pick up the bow with such weight. It weighed around 200 Kg.

The manager had some ideas in his heart to not pay the entire amount to Aakesh, but after seeing his strength, all such thoughts vanished from his heart. He took out a pouch containing a million low soul stones before Aakesh even asked for it. The manager then handed it to Aakesh.

Aakesh took the pouch and left the weapon store. He went right away to the spell store and bought the skill 'Ability-Learning'. After purchasing it, he returned to the real world as he wanted to test the power of the skill.

He teleported from the store to the mysterious peak directly. He then raised his hands, and a projection of a sword appeared above his head, creating light in the darkness of the night. It was the same skill his opponent used today while defeating him, and since he had already beaten him once, the skill 'Ability-Learning' worked, and he could use his opponent's skill once.

When his hand fell, the sword too fell, causing an earthquake to appear in the area around thousand of Yojanas.

A smile spread across Aakesh face after seeing the damage caused by the sword. A pit of thousands of miles of radius appeared while several beasts, unfortunately, died in the explosion.

Aakesh then returned back to his store. He didn't know that a few seconds after he left, a stranger engulfed in the darkness appeared floating in the air and looked at the pit.. Since the stranger's face wasn't visible, no one knew what expressions they had right now.
