Chapter 80: A New Day

"Divine Elephant," Aakesh mumbled, seeing the projection behind his opponent, but the next moment a smile spread across his face as he attacked.

The Black Dragon roared, shaking everyone sitting there watching with shocked faces. The next moment, it opened its mouth, which made the arena dark.

Suddenly, the sound of a rumble echoed in the battle arena as the White Elephant rushed at the Black Dragon. In response, the Black Dragon released a dark beam that he had just sucked from the atmosphere.

The attack even threatened the void as cracks started appearing in the space around the arena. The beam then clashed with the rushing Elephant.

The next moment, light returned to the arena. But neither the projections nor Aakesh's opponent was present, only a pit covering the entire battle arena, and Aakesh casually standing at the center of it was present.

The next moment, a blue window appeared in front of him. It first congratulated him for clearing the training, then it gave him three options, whether to return to the first round or second round, and the last whether to fight in the third round again.

He didn't select any option and returned to the selection ground. He then put down the sword and returned to the store.

"Hey, system, would the attack I used could threaten an immortal?" He asked the system after seeing the damage it did to his opponent and his most destructive attack. It wasn't even the most powerful attack he had in his arsenal while fighting with the sword.

[No, Host. Immortality is the level just before attaining the divine, so the defense of the body at that level is hard to break using such attacks.]

The system answered. Aakesh nodded as it was an unexpected answer, but he still understood. An attack that could kill the strongest Tao Palace expert without even giving them a chance of survival doesn't mean that it would be able to threaten the Immortal.

He then went to his room and fell asleep on his comfortable bed. He woke up the following morning, and a smile spread across his face as he found Lily sleeping peacefully.

He didn't disturb her, took a bath, and went down to his store. He then opened the door of the store and found a smiling Mark standing there.

"Hello, senior! I came here to buy pills!" He smilingly and respectfully said.

"Enter!" Aakesh expressionlessly responded and returned to the store.

"Senior! I want to buy three pills each!" Mark said.

Aakesh nodded and went toward the counter. Before taking out the pills, he looked at Mark and said, "We have two new addition to the pills today. Do you want to know about them, or do you only want these three?"

"Do they have the same impurity percentage as these three pills?" Mark curiously asked as he bought these pills to increase his knowledge, and the more pills he could buy, the more he could experiment.

Aakesh nodded and said, "Yes, and if you want pills with even fewer impurities than these pills, then you can buy medium pills with an impurity of only 5%."

"Really! 5...5% impurities!" Mark exclaimed in shock after hearing what the store owner said. The next moment, he calmed down as the better the pill, the more expensive it would be.

"Senior, what are the two newly added pills, and how much do they cost?" Mark asked after taking a deep breath.

"The first pill is first-grade inferior blood explosion pill, and it cost 25 inferior Primal stones. The other pill is a first-grade inferior energy meditation pill, and it cost 50 inferior Primal stones," Aakesh answered both of his questions.

Mark nodded after hearing the price of the pills. He was somewhat relieved as he could manage this amount with ease. "So if I bought each pill, it would cost me 175 inferior Primal stones, and I could only buy three pills at most, so it would cost me 525 inferior Primal stones," He thought in his heart.

Although it was a large sum for him, his love for alchemy trumped his spendings, so he took out the required amount from his space ring and said, "Senior, give me three inferior pills each."

Aakesh nodded and took out the pills Mark wanted. "Your bill is 525 inferior Primal stones!" He declared as he handed him the pills. Mark nodded and pushed the amount toward Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands, and the small mountain of Primal stones disappeared from the store.

"Senior, how much does the medium pills of their version cost?" Mark asked while pointing at the box of pills in his hand.

"The cheapest is first-grade medium energy meditation pill, and it cost ten ordinary Primal stones, whereas the most expensive is first-grade medium dantian healing pill, it cost 75 ordinary Primal stones," Aakesh responded.

"Senior, give me one medium energy meditation pill," Mark said as he couldn't stop himself from checking a pill with an impurity of only 5%.

According to the conversion rate, ten ordinary Primal stones would be one thousand inferior Primal stones, so he started taking them out. Before coming here, he had decided to carry all his savings in his space ring from now on.

"Stop! Ten ordinary Primal stones mean you have to pay them, not inferior Primal stones by conversion rate," Aakesh stopped Mark from taking out a mountain.

"Senior-"

"No, if you want to buy the pill, you would've to pay ten ordinary Primal stones. There is no choice in this matter," Aakesh bluntly said, as the system had clearly told him not to take conversion stones.

Mark nodded disappointedly and put the Primal stones that he had already taken out back in his space ring. He only had around 50 ordinary stones, so he didn't buy the pill.

He then left the store after thanking Aakesh.

[Host, you won't earn commission from the products you sell after this if you don't tell your customer about the virtual portal. As a new store, how can you not promote your best product to your customers?]

The next moment, the emotionless voice of the system suddenly rang in his head and asked him to talk about the virtual portal. It also warned him to take away his commission.. Aakesh didn't respond to the system's words, and instead, sat down on his chair.
