Chapter 786: Changes over the Years(1)

The time continued to move the way it did as another group of customers left Panagea after their six hours were over. And soon, another group took their place and refilled the hundred billion plus virtual portal to its limit.

It had been more than four hours since the store opened for the day.

Suddenly teleportation happened in the portal room as Jonnah finally came out after completing his quest in Panagea.

An unconcealable smile and excitement were prevalent on his face as he exited the room and returned to the assistant’s counter.

There were a few customers in line in front of Aakesh, so except for the customer completing his purchase, the other customers left the queue and made a new one in front of Jonnah.

Jonnah took a deep breath to calm his excited heart down and then began his duty.

Seeing no customer in front of him as the current one left, Aakesh closed his eyes and began another of his relaxation sessions.

Time flew by, and several hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Aakesh was currently looking at the quest screen related to the Panagea.

After seeing that the store’s streak was active and it had already achieved the one trillion and five hundred billion Panagea hours mark, Aakesh nodded and closed the screen.

“Store owner, what level are you in Panagea?” A familiar voice rang in Aakesh’s head, and he had no choice but to open his eyes.

Lilith was standing there with a smile on her face.

Jonnah, who was tending to a new customer, didn’t dare to look in Aakesh and Lilith’s direction as Lilith scared him even more than Aakesh for some reason.

“Why do you want to know?” Aakesh didn’t answer but asked the question.

The smile on Lilith’s face suddenly disappeared, and a solemn face took its place.

“I am returning to my original body after leaving the store,” Lilith replied. Her voice was laced with unwillingness since she had been having great fun in the store for the past thousand years.

Even though her intuition failed her once, which she still didn’t believe, Lilith just stopped wasting her time searching for the cultivation art that called to her.

“Oh!” Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

Even though he looked expressionless on the outside, he was excited in his heart. Talking to Lilith was a daunting task for him.

She was someone whom he couldn’t defeat as his chances continued to be zero percent till this moment.

At the same time, her actions had a strange flavor which made Aakesh uncomfortable.

But since her actions were in no way harmful to the store owner or the store, the system never acted, and Aakesh was also not going to ask for the system to act on someone who broke no rules.

A pouting expression appeared on Lilith’s face as she saw Aakesh’s indifferent face to the news of her leaving.

Whenever she talked with Aakesh, she couldn’t help but joke with him. At the same time, Aakesh also challenged her in other ways.

Lilith came from the Yaksha race, which was known to be the most beautiful and seductive race in the Multiverse. Despite it, her charms seemed to have no effect on Aakesh.

Lilith could see the dread in Aakesh’s eyes behind the indifference. It was also the primary fuel behind her becoming more and more open with Aakesh as time passed. It was nothing but a way to entertain herself in this low-level place, but now that she was leaving, a feeling of nostalgia hit her.

The life she had here was carefree. There were no dangers, no training, and no family issues.

These thousand years were the most peaceful phase in Lilith’s life, and she was going to miss it after leaving here.

As for why Lilith was leaving so suddenly when there was still time left before her vacation came to an end, she had no idea.

Lilith had just gotten summoned from her actual body, and it was in no way a choice for her since only some emergency could make the true Lilith call her.

“You don’t seem to feel sad now that I am leaving?” Lilith’s left eye raised in anger as she asked Aakesh.

A bickering session then began as Lilith was the one to speak while Aakesh expressionlessly listened.

Time flew by, and the time for Lilith to say goodbye to the Primal dimension finally arrived.

Aakesh had an expressionless face as he saw her back, but beneath those indifferent eyes, there was a hint of relief. The bickering with Lilith was never a good way to spend time with him.

“I will wait for you in the third dimension,” A familiar voice rang in Aakesh’s head as Lilith stepped out of the door.

“Same here.”

Lilith couldn’t help but smile as Aakesh’s response rang in her ears. It wasn’t his usual emotionless indifferent voice, but it contained a mix of emotions.

Lilith turned around, only to find nothing since she had already come outside.

The smile on her face deepened as she turned back and continued on her way. She wasn’t the one to return to the store once she said goodbyes.

Lilith’s silhouette slowly began to fade as she took steps forward, and after three footsteps from the store, she completely vanished as if she was never there.

While inside the store, Aakesh returned to his customary sleep.

Lilith was the first undefeatable person for Aakesh to come around, so it would be a lie if Aakesh said that he didn’t respect her for that. When he responded to Lilith, Aakesh also promised himself that he would grow stronger and make Lilith stand on the side he currently was.

There were bound to be changes when Aakesh repeatedly communicated with people. The previous Aakesh would have never responded to Lilith or even cared to challenge her, but now he hoped to stand on the powerful side.

Soon, he stopped thinking about Lilith and emptied his mind as he began another of his relaxation sessions.

Jonnah also heaved a sigh of relief as he heard that Lilith wouldn’t come to the store from now on. She would joke with Aakesh daily, and it was always a hair-raising experience for Jonnah since he couldn’t imagine someone talking to the store owner this way.
