Chapter 69: Store Status

After strolling around the market for a few hours, Aakesh and Lily returned back to the store. They only witnessed the situations today instead of experiencing them, so they didn't have to spend a lot of time.

When Aakesh reached the store, he noticed a man standing at the door. He could recognize the man by his clothes. It was the clothes of the royal guards.

"Sir, do you have time?" The guard asked when he saw Aakesh returning.

"No!" Aakesh refused straight away and entered the store.

"Sir, youngest prince wants to meet you," The guard still stayed respectful as he had got orders to act all the time respectfully, irrespective of the situation.

Aakesh ignored the guard and sat down on his comfortable chair. "Sir-"

"Tell your prince to come here and talk to me if he wants," The guard wanted to request again, but Aakesh cut his request in between and bluntly refused to make time for the prince.

"Sir, there are emergencies in the royal palace, so he can't come-" The guard tried to request again, but his mouth froze, and no words came out of his mouth when Aakesh directly looked into his eyes.

"Tell him that if he wants to meet me, he would have to come here," He flatly responded. Not waiting for the guard's response, he added, "You can leave if you don't want to buy anything from my store."

The guard had no choice but to leave after Aakesh told him to since Pento had clearly told him not to raise his voice, not to change the tone to disrespectful, and especially not to stay if the store owner refused.

"Let's then watch the pair of mother and son," He thought, and the next moment a black screen appeared in front of him from the exact moment he had stopped.

There wasn't anything for several minutes as the pair of mother and son only journeyed toward their home. When they reached their home, Turta went to his room, and since he was tired from the day's journey, he fell asleep.

A few moments after Turta fell asleep, his mother entered the room with a needle in her hands. She slowly took out his blood drop by drop so that Turta didn't wake up. After taking exactly 111 drops of blood, she took out the needle and left the room while Turta snored peacefully.

"How many more days do I have to act as his mother?" She spat in disgust after coming out of the room.

"One month more!" A hoarse male voice echoed as a man whose face was engulfed in dark appeared in the room.

"Still one month!" Turta's mother complained. She had been acting as his mother for more than a century but still, even a day felt like a hell to her. She acted, on the outside, that she loved Turta more than anything, but in reality, she didn't hate anything more than him.

"Yes, It'll still take a month. Until then, take 111 drops of the boy's blood every day and make him feel happy all the time," The man ordered and disappeared after taking the blood from the woman.

"Just one month of torture more, Pucchi!" the woman whispered to motivate herself to act for a month more.

"You were right!" Lily said, seeing Pucchi and hearing what she said.

Aakesh didn't say anything in response and thought about the screen disappearing, and the next moment, it disappeared.

"Why did you switch it off? Let me see what plans they have?" Lily said after Aakesh suddenly made the screen disappear.

"Whatever they had planned, we would find out one month later. It wouldn't be fun if we already knew about it," Aakesh responded with a smile.

The next moment, Aakesh closed his eyes and started visualizing the battle since there were no customers, and he had decided to fight after he shut the store.

Time flew by, and several hours passed, no customers came to his store. Any person who would pass through the store would only take a look but not enter the store.

"Hey, system, what would be the new product you would add in the store after I completed the quest?" Aakesh asked as he had nothing to do right now.

[Host, the selection of products will be random in the lower range of the products.]

The system responded in its mechanical and emotionless voice.

"Why would the products be in the lower range? If we add the products of the higher range, wouldn't that make this Kingdom grow at an exponential speed, and the faster and the larger this Kingdom grows, the more customers we would have," He asked the system.

[Host, you're right, but unfortunately, the Bisan and the nearby Kingdoms don't have the sufficient resources to buy even a single product in higher ranges.]

"I know that, but what if we sell mines of rare materials," He suggested to the system. Only the growth of resources in the land could grow the Kingdom. If the Kingdom grew, the number of rich people would grow, and similarly, his sales would increase.

[Host, your store level isn't enough to sell mines.]

"What is store level, and why have I never heard of that?" He confusedly asked as it was the first time he heard the word store level from the system.

[Ding.]

[Hidden quest: The first suggestion of products, successfully completed.]

[Mission reward: The store level successfully opened.]

[Host, you can check the store level by thinking about it. It would contain information regarding the store level and your store owner level.]

The next moment, he heard a number of continuous announcements. After hearing what the system said, he didn't wait for a second and thought about the store level. The next moment, a blue screen containing the information appeared in front of him.
