Chapter 65: New Customer (1)

Throughout the Bisan Kingdom, there was a storm of shock while Aakesh and Lily peacefully slept in his room. It had happened after several decades that the Kingdom didn't sleep at night and stayed awake.

Every single member of the Schiller family died on the same day, which was too much news for the citizens of the Kingdom to take in. The citizens didn't sleep the entire night while thinking about their safety, but the situation for Punta was different. On one side, he was grieving the loss of his son, while on the other side, he was thinking about what treasure the Schiller family had lost.

The news of the death of the King, the Prime minister, and the Army chief still hasn't spread over the Kingdom. If it did, this day would become the second most solemn day for the citizens after the day where they suddenly had a new King in Punta.

Punta was just wandering all over the ruined rooms of the Royal palace when suddenly he stopped in his steps as he found a man standing in his front and gently looking at him.

The newly appeared stranger looked exactly like Punta, but the stranger had white hair instead of black like Punta. His eyes were the proof of his longevity and vitality.

"Father!" Punta exclaimed after seeing the man.

"How're you doing, my son?" His father gently asked.

"After Bani passed away, I never talked to him. I started hating him for what he did to my wife, but I never wanted him to die," Punta responded with a slight tremble in his voice.

"I told you, you should've had another son," His father responded as he appeared next to him and patted his shoulder.

A wry smile appeared on Punta's face after hearing his father's words. He would've had another son if not for his fear of harming Bani again. No son or daughter was worth more than his wife for him.

"I would send all of my informants to find out about the man who was behind this," His father said while patting his son's shoulder. The next moment, he disappeared from there and returned back to the place where he came from.

Punta took a sigh after his father disappeared. "Everything is lost!" He murmured while shaking his head in disappointment. He started randomly strolling around the royal palace again.

Time flew by, the light of the sun cleared the darkness of the night. Aakesh woke up on time and was stunned to find Lily already woken up.

"You woke up early today," He asked Lily as he pushed back his hairs.

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep after I slept too much yesterday," She replied in her childlike voice while looking at her paws in the air.

"Good, Let's open the store," He replied as he stood up from his bed and went to the washroom to freshen himself.

After taking a bath, he wore the same clothes as usual. He then went down and opened the door of the store.

He noticed a lot of people in the market for when the sun had only appeared, but he had no intention to find out the reason behind it, so he entered back. He found the chair at the counter and sat down on it.

He then started visualizing how he would fight today in the virtual battle since there were no customers. He already had the skill to defend, but he didn't know whether the shield would be able to defend against that attack or if the opponent had another attack skill equal to or even more destructive than the attack he faced yesterday. So he had to make a plan for his battle, taking both the situations in his mind.

"Hello, senior!" While he was visualizing the battle, he suddenly heard a familiar voice. He slightly turned his head and saw Maria standing at the door.

"Hello!" He expressionlessly responded. "So, what pills do you want?" He then asked. He had already warned her twice about not buying pills in excess, but if she still continued, it was her issue, and it had nothing to do with him.

"Senior! I am not here for pills. I am here because I would be your neighbor from today," Maria excitedly responded.

"So?" Aakesh asked expressionlessly. What had he got to do with who his neighbor was?

Maria had no change in her expressions despite seeing no emotions from Aakesh as she expected him to have no response. "Senior! I would be opening a restaurant, so if you want to eat, you can come to my store," She excitedly told him and shamelessly promoted her restaurant.

"Sure," Aakesh responded. He already had plans to travel around the Kingdom, so eating in the restaurant next to his store wasn't a big deal for him.

"Okay, I would be waiting!" Maria excitedly responded and then left the store.

Aakesh Started visualizing the scene of the battle again. He had only closed his eyes when he heard the sound of footsteps. He opened his eyes and saw Maria carrying an injured man at the door.

"Senior! I found this injured man unconscious on the road, so I brought him here," Maria announced while slowly carrying the man into the store.

Aakesh stood up and brought three body healing pills from the shelves and then handed them over to Maria.

She didn't wait for a second and pushed the pill down his throat one by one. The pills started acting right away and healed the external injuries of the man in no time, but the man was still unconscious, so Aakesh went back to the shelves and pitched three mental healing pills, and handed them over to her.

Maria fed the pills to the man one by one. It didn't make him conscious right away. Only after several moments passed, only then was there a movement from the man's body.

"Please don't kill me!" The man shouted right after regaining his consciousness. He started repeating these words continuously after that like a crazy person. His voice got louder with each turn.

"It seems he needs two more inferior mental healing pills," Aakesh commented after seeing the mental situation of the stranger wasn't good.
