Chapter 605: Aakesh in Panagea(2)

As the sword passed through the same spot, a sound of paper tearing rang in the area.

It was only the external sound, as a heart-rending scream filled with different expressions like indignance, anger, hatred, confusion, etc., rang in Aakesh’s head.

“Thud!”

The next moment, a crashing sound rang in the area as a spherical core the size of a basketball crashed to the ground.

The spherical core had appeared out of nowhere, but Aakesh understood its origin.

Aakesh didn’t even get the time to pick up the core and study it since he soon heard several screams similar to what had made Aakesh stop in his steps rang in the area.

Aakesh left the core and the house as he teleported to the nearest destination from where he had heard the scream.

A woman was flailing on the ground, with her body slowly and slowly disappearing, while the intensity of the scream was growing.

The woman was naked with her hair being wet, signifying that she had just gotten out of her bath. Her two pairs of dark hands attempted to reflexively fight back as they randomly moved.

Aakesh didn’t stop and watch as he took a step forward, with his sword ripping through the air.

Soon another spherical core crashed to the ground, but it was only the size of an almond. Aakesh wasn’t there to see it as he had left as soon as he killed the thing.

Time flew by.

After a hard work of several minutes, the screams ringing in the air finally came to a stop.

Aakesh decided to study the spherical core lying at his foot, but suddenly a chill passed through his spine.

Aakesh forgot about the core and turned his sight toward the right.

Aakesh could see the tallest building in the tribe’s territory in his sight. From that structure, the source of the chill emerged.

The building belonged to the tribe leader. Aakesh could sense that if he didn’t do something about whatever was happening there, the chances of him failing the quest would increase disproportionately.

Aakesh casually took out a spear from his space ring and then threw it at the building.

“BOOM!”

The next moment, a loud explosion rang in the area, but it hadn’t even subsided when Aakesh crossed the fire and entered the building, now in ruins.

The chilling sensation increased even further as Aakesh suddenly bent down and swung the sword to his left.

It was an awkward posture, but Aakesh didn’t care as a red light passed through the spot where his head was a moment earlier.

“You are finally here,” A voice filled with excitement then rang in the area.

Aakesh didn’t get surprised hearing the voice as he had sensed a presence, unlike in the other situations after he entered the now ruined building.

“Are you the figure who watched the event of a golden grass getting born?” Aakesh turned to his left and asked. His eyes were cold as if there was nothing in the world that could move them, while his voice was neutral without any emotion, just like a machine.

“Eh!” A surprised exclamation rang in the area in response to Aakesh’s question, and soon, a figure approached Aakesh.

It was a woman approaching Aakesh. If the tribe members were here, they would have recognized the woman to be the tribe leader.

Even though she was a woman, she walked as a bulky man does.

The woman had two pairs of dark hands, with two of them carrying a sword, while the other two had a shield and a blade.

“How did you know I am not the tribe leader, and I watched the scene of the birth of golden grass?” The woman asked with surprise evident in her voice, which was too harsh for a woman of the tribe leader’s age.

Aakesh didn’t say anything but rushed toward her with the sword moving like a snake in his hands.

“Heh, a Level 231 daring to challenge me,” The woman couldn’t help but scoff after seeing Aakesh rushing at her. The woman was Level 253, so she was confident in handling Aakesh.

In response to the snake-like movement of Aakesh’s swords, the woman used the two swords and the shield she carried to defend while using the blade for an offense.

Aakesh slightly moved his head to his right as a blade passed through the spot, ripping through the air while continuing to thrust his sword.

Aakesh was never going to use his sword, and all the high-profile movement was only to make the woman take the sword seriously. As the two swords and shield finally brought Aakesh’s sword to a stop, Aakesh pasted a square-shaped talisman to the face of the woman.

Aakesh knew he couldn’t still defeat a Level 250 figure, so he after using several of the valuable materials he had, made three square-shaped talismans.

Each square-shaped talisman had only one ability, and it was to explode. Its explosion had enough power to blow a Level 260 figure, so when the woman sensed a feeling of extreme danger from the talisman, her movements came to a sudden halt.

“You can’t kill me. If I die, you will fail the quest, and all your efforts would be for nothing,” The woman soon calmed down and then stated.

Aakesh didn’t say anything as he already understood it. Even if Aakesh completed the quest after using the talisman, he would still face a severe loss, as even an increase of level wasn’t enough to pay the cost used in making the talisman, let alone a trillion XP.

Despite knowing it, Aakesh used the talisman without thinking of anything as he was confident in the character of the man hiding in the tribe leader’s body.

As Aakesh had expected, the woman’s actions came to a sudden stop. She first thought of trying to remove the talisman and taking action against Aakesh, but unfortunately for her, as soon as she touched it, a sense of extreme danger she had never felt passed through her body.

The woman moved her hands from it since she could feel that it would explode if she even tried to peel a bit of it from her face.

“Why don’t we make a deal?” The woman added after seeing Aakesh making no extra move after pasting the talisman on her face.
