Chapter 378 – Permission

Chapter 378: Permission

"Store owner, I want three medium mental healing pills," A customer requested Aakesh.

Aakesh, in response, stood up from his chair, went to the counter, and took out the required pills.

"You need to pay one hundred and fifty ordinary Primal stones," Aakesh expressionlessly told the customer and handed over the pill.

The customer nodded, took out the required Primal stones from his space ring, and extended them toward Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, Primal stones disappeared from the store.

"Thank you, store owner," The customer then thanked Aakesh and left the store.

Since there were no customers present in the store that needed his help, Aakesh returned to his relaxation session. Only several seconds had passed when the sound of footsteps entering the store rang, breaking the silence.

As usual, Aakesh's eyes remained closed. But the next moment, he had no choice but to open them as he sensed the approach of the footsteps.

Aakesh then looked toward the source, only to find it was Brinda and the King of the Blue Wyrm Kingdom.

"Greetings, senior," Brinda greeted Aakesh with a slight bow. Her tone contained respect. Martin also followed Brinda and greeted Aakesh.

Aakesh only nodded in response to their greetings. He then looked at them for their purpose behind coming here.

"Senior, I am here to share a piece of news with you and hope you can give some suggestions," Brinda didn't let Aakesh wait and commented.

Aakesh didn't stop her and waited for her to say what she wanted to speak.

Brinda then began explaining the proposal and her answer while Martin stood a step behind her, with his face looking at the floor.

Aakesh silently listened to what Brinda said. Even he couldn't help but be impressed by the determination of the neighboring King.

The moment the system chose the Bisan Kingdom for the store, the destiny of the Kingdom had already changed. The store's presence alone would make the Kingdom secure for as long as the store existed.

Aakesh also expected the King of the Bisan Kingdom to have ambitions to expand their territory using the presence of the store as a deterrent since it was the first goal for every ruler of a land.

Aakesh was already prepared to punish the King if they dared to expand their territory, using the store. He only didn't expect a King to willingly cede his title and Kingdom when it had only been around a month since the store arrived in Kakot.

"What do you think, senior?" Brinda asked when she had shared the event.

Brinda had complex relations with the store, and she was the King, not Aakesh, so she could make the decision for the Kingdom on her own, but she still asked Aakesh about his thoughts.

The reason for Martin's willingness to become a tributary and even to give up the royal status of his family was well known to her. The store played an enormous role in his decision.

It was also the reason she asked Aakesh for his thoughts. She didn't want to anger Aakesh for indirectly gaining benefits due to the store without even informing the store owner.

After the question, Martin nervously looked at the store owner as Brinda still hadn't made her decision, and whatever the store owner decided would happen.

"Why would you ask me this question? You're the King, not me," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

"Senior, it's just-"

"You don't need to worry about it. As long as you don't directly use the store's presence for your ambitions, I won't care."

"And, if you dared to use my or the store's name for your or your family's personal ambition, I would personally uproot your dynasty," Brinda wanted to say something, but before she could complete her sentence, Aakesh cut her words off, and gave his answer.

In the end, he also warned her. Even though his face and tone were expressionless, Brinda felt needles poking all over her body during the warning.

The feeling disappeared right away, but like a photograph, it got engraved into her memory. Now, whenever she would think about the warning, the feeling would return.

The badge she wore began working, and her mind returned to calm.

Now that she was calm, she could think straight. She then heaved a sigh of relief. According to what the store owner said, she wouldn't become a puppet for him and was free to make decisions for the territory. The store owner would only intervene if she used the store for her benefit, which she wouldn't even do in her dreams as she was aware of the horrors of Aakesh.

Someone who could kill a family to the last member was never to be messed with.

"I accept your proposal. From today on, the Blue Wyrm Kingdom ceases to exist. Only the cities would remain, and it would be in complete control of the King of the Bisan Kingdom," Brinda turned around, directly stared into the tense eyes of Martin, and announced her decision.

A smile subconsciously erupted on Martin's face, hearing Brinda. Martin would lie if he said that he didn't feel pain for giving up the Kingdom, his ancestors had created with their sweat and blood, but he was also relieved at the same time.

With the presence of the store and the tower, the Bisan Kingdom would someday grow into an Empire. And since he was the first to submit, he would surely benefit severalfold than whatever he would ever gain from the Kingdom and the citizens.

"Your servant is in your service, your majesty!" Martin spoke with complete reverence and knelt on the floor; his right leg touched the hardwood, while his right hand touched his chest, right where his heart was.

Time flew by.

The six-hour stay for the first group of customers in Panagea was over, so the system forced them out one by one, depending on their sequence of entry.

When all of the customers had exited, Aakesh ordered the next group to enter.

Since it was only the first day of the addition of the portals, and not many people knew about it, there were only sixty-seven customers waiting to enter Panagea.

That group included Brinda, Martin, and the royal family.

Another round of silence fell on the store after the group of customers left for Panagea, so Aakesh returned to his relaxation session.
