Chapter 360 – Crush

Chapter 360: Crush

"Why did you get so late?" Aakesh smilingly asked Lily as he stopped thinking about the battle.

Lily then began sharing her experiences inside Panagea with Aakesh, and Aakesh listened without disturbing her.

There wasn't any particular reason behind Lily breaking the schedule Aakesh had told her. She only got late because she finally found a place suitable for her and her underlings to grow, so it took time for her to do some preparations.

"Let's go," Aakesh commented after Lily had stopped talking. She only nodded in response to him.

The next moment, both of them disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection area.

Lily selected her usual training ground. A portal appeared and sucked her in.

Aakesh went to the weapons section first, picked up his bow, selected the training ground, pushed the switch on the other side. Soon, a similar portal appeared and sucked him in.

The next moment, Aakesh appeared in the familiar arena in the midst of cheers and whistles.

Soon, a blue window appeared in front of him. He had successfully killed the opponent in the last two battles, so if he wanted, he could go to the next round; still, Aakesh decided against it as none of the two fights was an overwhelming win for him. He then selected the option he had already chosen.

The next moment, the blue screen disappeared, and soon, the opponent appeared.

The opponent already took an attacking posture despite the battle not beginning. Since he had faced two consecutive deaths, he wanted to end the streak, but instead, he wanted to be the winner of this fight.

Aakesh looked carefree, seeing the opponent.

[Ding!]

The next moment, the bell rang and announced the start of another battle between Aakesh and the opponent.

Since the opponent was already in an attacking posture, he took the initiative. He disappeared from where he was standing a moment earlier and appeared right in front of Aakesh with his sword aiming to sever his head.

Aakesh casually brought his bow between the sword and his head.

"Clang!"

The next moment, the sound of a metallic clash rang in the arena as the bow and the sword clashed.

"Whoosh!"

The opponent hadn't even gotten the chance to take his sword back when an arrow flew at him.

His reaction proved to be slower than he wanted, and the arrow took away a portion of his horns.

Aakesh then disappeared from where he was standing.

The opponent, in pure horror, looked around him to find Aakesh, but he couldn't. He only witnessed arrows coming at him from all directions.

The opponent gritted his teeth and charged forward to clash with the arrows in the front.

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

The sound of metallic clashes continuously rang in the area as the opponent destroyed the arrows he could, and for those he couldn't, he deflected them.

"Let's end this! There's no point in continuing it."

The opponent was fighting with the arrows coming at him, only to feel a chill swept through his body, as a cold voice from behind echoed in his ears.

The cheering crowd in the arena also fell silent as they couldn't believe what they were seeing.

The difference between Aakesh and the opponent had become so wide that the opponent wasn't even able to see through Aakesh's movement, despite being the swordsman.

It had only been a few seconds since the battle began, but Aakesh had already gotten bored, as he felt like an adult fighting a kid in this battle.

Suddenly, the sky above the arena turned dark as countless arrows out of nowhere appeared.

The space around the arrows began cracking as each of them weighed an unimaginable weight. Even the space wasn't able to handle it without any pressure.

The opponent felt a chill crawl through his spine as he could feel the level of threat oozing from the arrows.

The opponent didn't want to go without the fight, so the projection of a white sword appeared floating right above his head.

The opponent then aimed the sword at the arrows.

The arrows also began falling down.

"BOOM!"

With every clash, an explosion-like sound echoed.

In no time, the projection got cracked and then disintegrated into nothingness.

The arrows then began falling on the opponent and engulfed him.

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

The explosion-like sounds continuously rang for several seconds as the arrows continued crashing down the ground.

With every crash, the ground shook, while the area around the arrow sunk, showing the weight of it.

Suddenly the arrows in the sky disappeared since the opponent lost his life.

Only a blood paste remained in his place, and that too soon scattered like sand.

Aakesh didn't need to continue fighting this second round from now on as this battle couldn't be any less than crushing for the opponent and overwhelming victory for Aakesh.

As expected, a blue window appeared in front of him, asking whether he wanted to go to the next stage or not.

Aakesh decided to leave the training ground for now and fight the third-round opponent tomorrow. He instead wanted to focus more on the fort for now and conquer it as soon as possible.

Aakesh disappeared from the arena and appeared in the selection area.

He then selected his next training area. A portal appeared and sucked him in.

He then appeared in the familiar closed hall, with one bullseye in front of him.

"Whoosh!"

Soon the training began, and the bullseye released the arrow.

Aakesh took an arrow out from the quiver tied to his back, nocked it on the bowstring, and stretched the bowstring up to his nose. He released the bowstring, and the arrow then flew toward the bullseye.

"Clang!"

The sound of metallic clash rang as both the arrows clashed, and since they had an equal amount of strength, both of them got disintegrated.

Time flew by, and ten minutes had passed.

Aakesh was currently in three hundred and forty-sixth round while three hundred and fifty bullseyes were releasing arrows in front of him.

Aakesh hadn't failed a single time until now, and he also didn't fail further.

After the number of bullseyes reached three hundred and fifty-one, Aakesh stopped and left the training ground.

After appearing in the selection area, Aakesh chose his last destination for the training today.. In response, a portal appeared and sucked him in.
