Chapter 320: Chris and Aaron
After entering the store, Chris's eyes fell upon the hardwood floor made up of Kashamba.
For a few seconds, he couldn't close his mouth. The amount of Ashamba he had seen in the store even surpassed the amount in his family, despite being one of the top powers of the Primal dimension.
His followers and friends that came with him also had the same reaction.
The divination expert, Aaron, on the other hand, looked around the store, only to get shocked the more he looked.
He was not only one of the top divination experts in the Primal dimension, but he also was a peak Dharma Monarch, the highest cultivation level here. What affected him more than Ashamba was the space inside the store, as despite there being hundreds of customers inside the store, the space seemed unaffected and stayed empty.
Aaron's eyes then fell upon Aakesh, who was relaxing on his chair. Since only Aakesh was sitting on a chair, he understood Aakesh's identity.
He then tried to sense the store owner's cultivation level, only to find that he was a late Void Forging level cultivator.
Aaron didn't believe that level for even a second, as his gut feeling said that it wasn't his actual cultivation level.
Chris and his group were immersed in the store and its luxury, so Aaron approached Aakesh.
"Store owner, what products do you sell in the store?" Aaron asked Aakesh.
Aakesh looked up at the blonde Elf in front of him. For a moment, Aakesh thought he was looking at a female, but the man's voice gave him up. If Aakesh were to compare the appearance of all the Elves and other customers that had entered his store, this man would stay at the top of the list. Only Eris's real appearance could be considered equal to the man in terms of appearance.
"The store sells…" Aakesh introduced the products of his store.
Out of all the products, the one thing that impressed Aaron most was Panagea, so he began asking questions related to Panagea.
Time flew by, and several seconds had passed.
Chris, who had come here for a purpose, finally got over the luxury of the store after remembering his situation and the reason for him coming here.
Seeing Aaron conversing with the blue-skinned man that seemed to be the store owner, Chris didn't approach them for now. He instead waited for the conversation, and then he would ask Aaron.
Finally, when Aaron had asked all the questions he wanted to ask, he turned around and returned to Chris.
"So, what product will help me survive this ordeal?" Chris asked Aaron. His voice contained respect as even his father didn't dare to talk rudely with Aaron.
"There are only four products in the store. Two of them are weapons and pills. Weapons are only up to the King-grade, so they're out of the questions. Similarly, the highest grade for the pill is the top grade, so they're also out of the equation," Aaron began answering with an aloof tone.
"The other two products are that could provide help in your situation. The first is Panagea, a virtual world that allows you to live similar to how you live in the actual world and grow in strength. Even though it could make you stronger, but similar to the real world, it will take time for you to grow and then redeem that power in the real world."
"The last of the four products is the training area, and it's the only product that could help you right away, but as for surviving the ordeal, I am not sure."
Aaron responded. According to him, only Panagea allowed Chris a chance to survive, but only if he had years left. As for the upcoming battle with his cousin, the training area somewhat gave him a chance to survive, according to what he had heard from the store owner.
The Gods & Demons level training area allowed Chris to have a large rate of sudden growth, but Aaron wasn't sure that a single hour of training would allow Chris to surpass his cousin, who had a known talent when it came to combat.
"WHAT!" Chris yelled in surprise, bringing the attention of all customers to him after he heard the price of the training area.
Aakesh, on the other hand, was already adapted to such reactions in the store, so he didn't even take a glance at the group of new customers.
The other customers also moved their eyes away and returned to their meditation, after a moment of surprise.
Chris, on the other hand, didn't care about the people's reactions in the store. What he was most worried about were the trillion supreme Primal stones he needed to pay, if he wanted to have the best training area.
Even though Chris's father was the younger brother of the leader of the Mackey family and had a large number of resources in his name, Chris couldn't use that for his benefit.
He was neither his father's favorite child nor was he very talented, so he only had a limited amount of resources in his name. If not for his mother and elder sister, he wouldn't have even reached this stage.
His entire life savings after paying eleven billion supreme Primal stones to Aaron was only around seven hundred billion stones.
So Chris, who had thought that he had gotten a chance of survival after the divination, found himself disappointed learning that he didn't have enough money to pay for the services.
Chris's eyes then fell upon Aaron, with a fawning smile and a look of yearning appearing on his face.
Aaron couldn't help but shudder, seeing such a look of yearning in Chris's eyes. He understood what he was going to say next.
Even though Chris belonged to one of the top families, and asking for money from someone would bring a bad reputation to him, Chris didn't care at that moment. He only had a single chance of survival, and that depended upon the store.
Dignity only mattered when alive, so Chris, without thinking of anything, looked at Aaron, and respectfully asked, "Please lend me three hundred billion supreme Primal stones."
Aaron wanted to refuse right away, but no words came out of his mouth as Chris shamelessly grabbed his hands.
