Chapter 256: The Quest

After the second group exited Panagea, Aakesh ordered the third group to enter.

Since Aakesh had opened the store late, he decided to keep the same schedule of fifteen hours so the store would also close late than usual.

Even though the day was close to an end, customers still entered the store from time to time, so Aakesh never got the free time.

Anytime a new customer arrived and approached him, he would introduce his store products to them. Just like that, time flew by, and hours passed.

Darkness had already covered the light, and customers were leaving the store one by one since it was getting closed.

A few seconds later, only Aakesh remained in the store. He stood up from his chair, went to the door, and closed it, bringing another day for the store to an end.

"Hey, system, show me my new quest," He told the system since he had gotten a quest after the death of the intruders and his warning to the other customers a few hours earlier.

The system didn't speak anything in response, and the next moment, a blue window containing the details of his new quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Objective: Hunt the Intruders,

Requirement: As someone who wants to become the most outstanding store owner, how could you leave those who repeatedly offended you and eyed your store alive?

Information: The organization Nielle has begun eyeing your store,

System's help: Three absolute attacks, and you can materialize any one weapon of your likes during the quest duration,

Mission reward: Increase of a level, and one offensive skill,

Failure punishment: Decrease of a level, and the store's shutdown for one thousand years.]

Aakesh couldn't help but take a deep breath, reading the quest. The system didn't give him any major hint and only told him the name of the organization that's been eyeing his store. It didn't even tell him the purpose of the organization behind their attempts.

Aakesh didn't worry much or feel disappointed since any piece of information was better than nothing at all. Having the name of the organization was enough for him to find out about the organization. As for the purpose behind their actions, he would find it from the leader of the organization itself.

He then focused on the screen and read further down. Finally, expressions appeared on his face as it turned solemn, seeing the help the system would provide him for the quest.

Only absolute attacks from the system were more than enough, but the system also allowed him to take out one of his training weapons in reality.

The absolute attack was undefendable like its name suggested. Death and destruction were certain whenever these kinds of attacks appeared.

Since Aakesh was in the Primal decision, and the strongest being here were the Void beasts. Using the absolute attacks, Aakesh could even kill them. There can also be beings from higher levels like the Angel that arrived in the store earlier. Even they couldn't defend themselves from these attacks. They could only escape back to the dimension they came from.

But for Aakesh, the weapon that he could take out during the quest meant way more than these three absolute attacks.

The weapons he had were the best of the quality, not only in the Primal dimension but all three. Only the weapons of the Devas were better than his weapons, and it was also the reason behind the system not allowing him to take them out of the training area.

He suddenly stopped as he also remembered something while thinking about the weapons.

"Hey, system, wouldn't my taking out any of the weapons break the rule of the Primal dimension?" He decided to ask the system right away. All the weapons he had were sentient, and even Gods wouldn't be able to handle the subconscious pressure released by them.

The only reason, Aakesh didn't worry about the pressure was because of bonding with them. When the system prepared the training area for him, Aakesh had bonded with all the weapons.

[Host, you don't need to worry about that. The weapons would only be at the peak of the Primal dimension.]

The system responded in its usual emotionless and mechanical voice. Aakesh nodded after listening to the system's response since it made sense. The system cared for the rules of the Multiverse even more than him, so it would be him who would break the rules if a chance arrived, but the system would never do that.

"Hey, system, would only three absolute strikes be enough for the quest?" Aakesh then asked another question. The organization that could send intruders ranging from intermediate to late Immortals(eight Heavenly Monarch, six Dharma Monarch, two Demigods), how could Aakesh, who was only equivalent to a Tao Palace expert, kill them?

[Host, it's up to you to solve that problem. The system had already offered help and made the quest easy for someone like you.]

The system responded. Aakesh fell silent for a second and then asked for the attack types the system had offered him as help.

After seeing the details, he nodded. Out of the three absolute attacks, only one attack was a single-person attack, while the other two were large-area attacks.

If Aakesh were to make good use of the two large-area attacks, Aakesh could kill the entire organization.

But, seeing a single-person attack made Aakesh's face grave. Since the system offered him one such attack, that meant there was at least a person who wouldn't die by the large-area attacks.

"Is the organization working for someone from higher dimensions?" Aakesh couldn't help but think since only creatures equivalent to the Void beasts would need a single-person attack to kill.

A few moments later, he stopped thinking about it since there was no point in it. He would find out the identity of whoever it was when he started his hunt.

Aakesh then refocused on the quest screen and read the further details.

The grave face he had a moment earlier disappeared when he saw the mission rewards. After this leveling up, he would reach the peak of the Primal dimension, and then he wouldn't need to worry about anyone even outside the store.

Even though he still didn't worry about it since he had no interest in going outside, still having the power to kill anybody without the system's help was still needed.
