Chapter 224: Skills and Upgrades
The surprise didn't seem to end for Aakesh as he noticed an addition of a few skills in the skill section.
The first skill was Wolfbane. He had won it after as a bonus reward for completing his first quest exceptionally.
Aakesh noticed the skill was shining brighter than usual on the status screen, so Aakesh tapped on it.
The next moment, an additional blue screen containing the details of the skill appeared in front of him.

The skill, Wolfbane had automatically gotten upgraded even though the condition for the growth was to train it. Aakesh hadn't used the skill at all since he found it to be a waste of time.
"What a waste of time!" He commented since the skill was still disappointing. Aakesh himself was Level 30, and even without this skill, wolves below Level 25 wouldn't be able to intimidate him. It also would have no effect on the wolf king since the maximum level Aakesh had a chance to scare was Level 40, while the wolf king was a Level 50 creature.
Aakesh also believed that he could kill Level 40 beings without much effort with these attributes.
He could even survive a few direct attacks of the wolf king with 2000 HP. He still wouldn't challenge it since surviving attacks and defeating them were two entirely different things. He wouldn't fight a battle where he has a chance to get defeated, and in this case, his defeat was imminent since the wolf king was not only a Level 50 creature but also it was on the verge of evolving to Epic lifeform.
As for Lily, he didn't worry about her since he was already far ahead of the schedule he had planned for the quest due to the boost of 10 levels provided by Watcher. Before gaining the class, he needed around a week in the actual world time to defeat the wolf king, but now that he had gained so many levels, he believed he would have enough power to challenge the wolf king in the upcoming three-four days.
Since these were matters for the future, Aakesh put them on the back of his mind. Instead, he was curious about why the skill, Wolfbane, upgraded on its own when he hadn't fulfilled the requirement.
He then waved his hands, and the skill screen disappeared. He then focused on the status screen and noticed that the skill, Ability-Learning, was also shining brightly.
He didn't wait and tapped on it. The next moment, another blue window containing the details of the skill appeared in front of him.

Aakesh couldn't help but get surprised, seeing the details. "Finally, something good," He muttered.

"Hey, system, did the class, Watcher, automatically upgrade my skills without me fulfilling the condition?" He asked the system before trying to check the details of the new skills he had gained.

The first skill his eyes fell on was Universal-Eye. He tapped on it, and the next moment, its details appeared on a new screen.
