Chapter 1517: The Terror Gibbon!

The upper half of the card contained an appearance of the Terror Gibbon. It was a fearsome sight to look at. It stood tall and muscular, with a thick, fur-covered body rippling with power. Its fur was a deep, fiery red-orange hue, like smoldering embers, with lines of black running along its back and limbs like veins of molten rock.

Its eyes burned with an intense, fiery glow, radiating an aura of menace and cruelty. Its massive, muscular arms ended in long, sharp claws capable of easily tearing through flesh or any other defense, and its chest was broad, looking like a barrel.

Ziro read the details on the card with focus, and when he reached the end, his eyes were filled with excitement. He had hoped to summon a strong beast, not expecting to summon something like the Terror Gibbon.

The Terror Gibbon was a beast purely born for battle and destruction. Forget supporting type skills; it didn't have even a single defensive skill for it to use. It was as if the beast didn't like to defend but went all in in every battle.

Since Ziro had already borrowed a hundred ultimate Sacred stones from the store, he had the money to purchase the beast, but he still hesitated for a moment.

The sum of 25 ultimate stones was one-fourth of the borrowed wealth, so it wasn't easy for him to immediately come to a decision. But after thinking and seeing the skills of the Terror Gibbon, the decision became easy.

Ziro then left the queue and walked toward the square device. After waiting for several minutes, it was finally his turn.

Ziro put the beast card in the card compartment and his other hand in the hand section. Following that, Ziro found himself in a different environment, with his cultivation reduced to early True God.

He was standing in a forest with towering trees, but there was something that towered over them. He could see an endless mountain, but when he saw the smoke rising from it, he understood it was a volcano.

Boom!

The next moment, a small earthquake occurred, and a ball of flame erupted from the volcano, darkening the sky while embers fell on a tree.

Some trees caught fire and immediately began burning, but the fire wouldn't spread far and slowly disappeared. When Ziro looked down, an uneven ground greeted his sight.

Since Ziro was someone with high elemental compatibility with the earth element, he could see the dangerous terrain of the ground with treacherous sudden drops and pitfalls here and there.

Roar!

Suddenly, a beastly roar appeared some distance from Ziro, taking his attention away. Ziro looked in that direction, and the beast he had seen on the card stood not far from him.

Ziro couldn't help but suck a cold breath of air. The beast looked majestically horrifying on the card, but it looked even more terrifying and majestic when he stood face-to-face with the Terror Gibbon.

Its fiery eyes contained a mixture of anger and cruelty as they stared at the intruder. It suddenly pumped its chest and released another roar.

Ziro was no weakling, so he also pushed back and growled against the beast, further enraging the Terror Gibbon.

Ding!

The bell the two sides had been waiting for rang and announced the start of the battle. Neither of them waited and made their moves at the same time.

Howl!

The Terror Gibbon howled, unleashing [Blazing Howl]. Ziro suddenly froze as a wave of panic engulfed his heart. It wasn't the end as suddenly a stinging pain attacked Ziro.

Ziro had fought countless battles over the years, and many of them had been brutal enough to send shivers down the spines of even the cruelest creatures. He immediately woke up, and the negative effects of the skill disappeared while his soul successfully doused the fire caused by the attack.

That moment of pause was more than enough for the beast to unleash another attack, and it didn't waste that opportunity. The Terror Gibbon appeared behind Ziro, using the skill [Earth Step], and once it was at its destination, it activated [Pyroclastic Burst].

Ziro was taken aback by the sudden attack, and the ground beneath him exploded. A blaze engulfed him while a shower of molten rocks attacked him.

Boom!

Even the fortune favored the beast at the time as the volcano released another burst of energy, larger than the last time. Ziro felt a shadow enveloping him, but he had no time to check on it.

If he could, he would have seen a splash of lava the size of a small lake descending, and Ziro stood at the center of it. Even if Ziro survived the Terror Gibbon's attack with much injury, the lava was sure to wound him.

Ziro didn't panic and remained calm in the face of life-threatening danger. He activated a skill related to the water element, and following that, a ball of water appeared and immediately enveloped him.

The molten rocks, when they crashed into the ball of water, immediately turned into normal rocks. The water barrier had no other effect than restricting fire.

The stones hit Ziro, but the damage wasn't very high, so he didn't mind. Once the impact of Terror Gibbon's attack was over, the splash of lava was his next enemy.

The splash of lava fell, and the Terror Gibbon had already backed away from its range. Ziro could no longer defend him simply with the skill since even if the blaze were to get taken away from the splash, he would get drowned in the gigantic wall of rocks in the lava.

Ziro immediately bent down and touched the ground, transferring his energy there. Following that, wall after wall of stone emerged from the ground, trying to stop the lava.

Before Ziro could celebrate, a sense of danger suddenly struck him. He looked down and found vines emerging from the ground and binding him to a single spot.

Argh!

Ziro couldn't help but groan since the vines were full of thorns. Wherever they touched Ziro's skin, gashes opened up, and the vines feasted on his blood.
