Chapter 1463 Reaching Limit(6)

Chapter 1463: Reaching Limit(6)

After setting the limits on summoning, Ruhun joined the queue and waited for his turn. He didn't have a specific beast on his mind. He only wanted to see a shocking beast that would force him to be surprised.

Time flew by, and it was finally his turn. He didn't waste any time and pressed the button.

Three seconds later, a beast appeared on the screen. Ruhun, who had a great knowledge of the beast groups in the Sacred Dimension, immediately recognized the beast.

Not long after, the card formed out of nowhere and flew into his hand. He caught it and took a quick glance at it.

The next moment, he returned the card since there was nothing in it that made him look twice at that detail.

Since he had set his limit of summoning at 10, he pressed the button again.

Time flew by, and it was Ruhun's tenth summoning. He pressed the button and initiated the round. Following that, '9' appeared on top of the screen, and the square section began to rotate.

Three seconds later, a familiar beast appeared on the screen.

Ruhun had to leave the first row with some disappointment since neither of the ten beasts could make him take a second look at any details on the card.

The disappointment immediately disappeared since these weren't things that could influence Ruhun's heart. He then walked to the second device and joined the queue.

***

Rumble!

Ruhun pressed the button, and with a rumbling sound, the square section began to rotate. Five seconds later, it stopped, and a beast appeared on the screen.

It was another familiar beast, but since Ruhun had no choice in the race of the beast, he still waited for the card. With only a quick glance, the entire content published on the card got engraved in his mind.

He then walked to the return compartment and placed the card there. Ruhun then returned to the device and initiated the second round of summoning.

Five seconds later, a beast unfamiliar to him appeared on the screen.

Ruhun had done the summoning twelve times, adding the ten summons on the first device, but it was the first time summoning a beast that he was unfamiliar with.

He certainly had more anticipation for that beast, but not long after, he was met with another disappointment. Since there were still eight rounds of summoning left in the limit set by him, he returned the beast card and initiated another round.

Time flew by, and it was time for the seventh round of summoning.

Ruhun pressed the button, and the familiar scenery played out. Five seconds later, the rotation stopped, and a beast appeared on the screen. It was the second unfamiliar beast on the seventeenth summons.

Not long after, a card formed out of nowhere and flew into Ruhun's hand. He caught it and immediately took a quick glance at it.

Unlike the previous instances, he was forced to take a second glance at the element section on the card.

The upper half of the card contained an illustration of the beast. It was a creature with a majestic yet fearsome appearance. Its sleek fur was a deep shade of royal purple, underlined with metallic streaks that shimmered with a magical shine. The metallic sheen on its fur extended to its claws, fangs, and tail, giving it a regal and imposing presence.

Its eyes glowed with an eerie combination of thunderous energy and a venomous purple hue. Intricate patterns resembling thunderbolt-shaped runes glowed around its spine with electrical energy.

Its horns had the flicker of thunder, showing its mastery over the element. In the area between its eyebrows, there was a pattern engraved, meaning dread in universal language.

Ruhun couldn't help but raise his eyes in surprise since the beast who controlled the element of emotion was immensely rare. In that sense, elements like dread were even rarer since dread was the quality of a top predator.

After stopping at the element section for a moment, Ruhun's eyes moved below. He couldn't help but want to experience the [Maleficent Symphony].

The Purple Mantigre met the shocking factor Ruhun desired in the summoned beast, and since it was also summoned below the set limit, his decision was made.
