Chapter 1417 Battle!

Chapter 1417: Battle!

Feeling danger emanating from his left, Grosal made quick movements and bent down in a weird posture. The next moment, something flew, ripping the air.

Before Grosal could return to a comfortable posture, there was another attack. He had no time to dodge it, so he decided to face it head-on.

Trusting his intuition, Grosal tried to catch something in the air.

Boom!

The next moment, an explosion rang in the area, but Grosal succeeded in controlling the force released from it. The result of that was his bloody hand.

The injury seemed to cause no pain to Grosal as he jumped forward. During the time he was in the air, he straightened his posture.

A click rang in his ears when he was about to land on the ground. Grosal suddenly frowned, and instead of landing on his two feet, he landed with the support of his hands.

The next moment, he jerked his left leg, and the clicking sound rang once again. The beast had used one of its cursing abilities, causing a sudden joint dislocation.

Time flew by, and the battle between the two sides persisted for a while.

The tortoise seemed to have reached its limit, forcing it to use its ultimate attacking ability.

Crack!

The next moment, a cracking sound rang in the area, and the cause of it was space. Starlight descended to the ground like a raging tide and was slowly getting compressed.

When the beast reached the limit of what it could handle, it let go of its control over the compressed starlight.

Following that, a wave of light washed over the area. Wherever the light washed over, there was nothing but the utter destruction of all elements. Even the space couldn't restore itself.

The beast immediately turned in the direction of its opponent and looked at it with solemn eyes. The next moment, whatever hope it had was dashed down, and the lights in its eyes dimmed.

The beast gave up on the battle right at that moment since Grosal stood fine with some superficial injuries. There was no way for the beast to defeat the opponent.

Grosal wiped the blood from his mouth and smiled since the battle was over. Following that, his consciousness returned to the store, and not long after that, an unbearable prickling pain hit him.

After only the last step of payment was left, Grosal left the queue and walked toward the room's exit.

When he exited the room, there was a small queue of people in front of the store owner, so he had to wait again. Grosal seemed to have returned to his younger days when he had to get everything. It had already been billions of years since the last time he had to wait, but inside the store, the majority of the hour he had been inside the store had been spent waiting for either the product or in line to reach the store owner.

"Complete the payment," Grosal said, handing over the two beast cards to Aakesh.

Aakesh took the card from the man's hands, and with a single glance, the purchase details appeared in his head.

"You need to pay one hundred fifty thousand ultimate,..., one hundred ten lesser Sacred stones," Aakesh informed Grosal.

Following that, he introduced the three store cards and their details to him. He didn't want to repeat the routine of getting a higher currency and then asking for the exact currency.

After learning about the store cards, Grosal made the same decision as other wealthy people. In no time, he completed the binding process with the Ultimate Store Card.

Once he stored enough wealth in the infinite stone storage space inside the card, an autonomous alert rang in his head.

Once the payment was complete, Grosal asked about the training area in detail.

Upon hearing about the differences and details, he decided to choose the Primordial level of difficulty. He then paid the sum of one supreme Sacred stone and walked toward the weapon room.

Grosal already had a weapon for the training area, so he didn't need to buy one. After walking inside the weapons room, Grosal was greeted with the sight of numerous murals painted across the wall detailing different concepts of weapon skillsmanship.

Grosal didn't have a great talent for weaponry, so he was an average sword user. But since his cultivation was peak Sacred Creator, he could still sense the extraordinariness of the murals. Other than that, he didn't feel anything different about them.

After looking and marveling at some of them, Grosal moved his eyes away and walked toward the inner circle of pillars.

Once he found the pillar referring to the sword, he completed the process as told by the store owner, and soon, he found his consciousness inside an endless white space.

A blue screen popped out in front of him, asking him to choose his opponent for the training. Grosal first searched for the available opponents of the Primordial Dimension. He didn't feel great even once after looking at them, so he decided to train with the inhabitants of his own dimension first.

Grosal didn't have any enemies with serious feuds, so he didn't immediately have a race in his mind. Since time was stopped inside the blue space, it didn't matter how long Grosal took to choose his opponent.

Grosal decided to go with Lirreens since there was no opponent better than the self in the end. For the environment, he chose a battle arena with quick wind.

The next moment, Grosal appeared in a battle arena, with the wind moving at tens of thousands of miles per second. If the wind were to flow at that rate in Thorr City, it would cause disaster, but for Grosal, it was nothing much.

Not long after that, Grosal's opponent for the training appeared on the scene. It looked the same as the original and carried the same weapon as well.

Ding!

The directionless bell rang, announcing the start of the first battle of the many.

Grosal felt a sudden threat to his life, so he immediately backed away, but before his back foot could land, he was cut into two pieces and lost consciousness.

The next moment, he returned to the white space and looked shocked by the instant battle.
