Chapter 1313: Training and Panagea(2)

The outcome of the clash went as Aakesh had expected. The opponent could only watch his death's approach, and he got crushed to instant death in no time.

A blue light covered the arena, and a green light engulfed him the next moment. His injuries healed in no time, while the cracks and damage in the arena also disappeared.

Time flew by, and minutes passed in a flash.

Ding!

The bell rang, announcing the start of the 259th battle. It was a new record set by Aakesh since he had lost the 258th round the previous day.

Roar!

The opponent roared in anger after it appeared on stage. It was angrier than ever because its strength had clearly surpassed Aakesh in the 256th level itself, but it had yet to win against him.

Immediately after the roar, it pounced on Aakesh, who also attacked.

Boom!

Just the resulting force from the first clash between the two was enough to cause an explosion. Cracks appeared on the ground while the two opponents were pushed back.

Aakesh was pushed back farther than the Niris, but immediately after stabilizing himself, he charged, pushing strength to his feet.

When Aakesh reached the opponent, he thrust his spear forward, but the man turned out to be the quicker of the two and grabbed the spearhead by his mouth.

Aakesh didn't try to take his spear back but raised it in the air, taking the opponent in the air as well. He then swung it and pushed it to the ground. The man released his grip on the spear, but how could Aakesh let an opportune moment to cause severe harm go?

The spearhead suddenly glowed and began to vibrate. The man cried out in pain, and blood spilled out of his mouth.

Time flew by, and the battle kept raging for several minutes.

Everything must come to an end, and the same was the case for the battle.

Aakesh and the opponent both released their ultimate attacks. The result of the clash led to the destruction of the space.

When the effects had subsided, there was nothing but a void in place of the arena. In that void, there was a creature standing, and unfortunately for Aakesh, it was a man.

Aakesh failed to survive the resulting explosion and was vaporized from existence.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself back in the selection area, and ahead of him, there were three chairs arranged in a way so that everyone would get to pay full attention to both parties in front of them. Two of the three chairs were already filled, with the cute Lily taking one and the mighty Khaval taking the other.

A gentle smile spread across Aakesh's face when he saw his only two family members waiting for him. Lily and Khaval had the same reaction when they saw Aakesh finally come out.

After Aakesh took his seat, the traditional session of conversation began between the two. Aakesh took the lead and shared his day's happenings with the two. After Aakesh, it was Khaval's turn. He also shared his experience for the day in Panagea.

It was the same boring experience, and it was Lily's turn. Both Aakesh and Khaval waited for Lily to share her experience since she was the only one going through an adventure.

After Lily succeeded in flashing out the traitor, she displayed her brutal side, resulting in stability for her territory. Even then, she knew that it was only temporary and that the calm before the storm.

Fortunately for her, the duration of the calm before the storm was a few centuries long. Lily knew her weakness was a lack of strength, so to solve that, she decided to go on a ruin exploration trip with some of her followers.

After Lily concluded her experience for the day, the group conversation came to an end.

The next moment, a white light covered the three of them, including their chairs.

The light disappeared as quickly as it had arrived, and with it, the three of them also vanished, and silence returned to the selection area.

Aakesh, Lily, Khaval, and Aakesh's chair returned to the store's hall.

The next moment, a door appeared midway in the air, and soon after it, the stair connecting the gate to the floor also emerged.

Lily and Khaval then bid their byes to Aakesh and climbed up the steps since their virtual portals were inside the room. Once they entered the room, the door automatically closed, and not long after, it and the stair disappeared.

The gentle smiling face turned into his usual indifferent expression, and Aakesh walked toward the portal room. As his habit had become, he looked at the two leaderboards. Finding nothing new on them, he moved his eyes away and touched the nearest portal with the tip of his finger.

The next moment, Aakesh was sucked inside, and all the shining dots on the portal turned gray.

Aakesh found himself back on the same damp surface after entering Panagea. For the past several days, Aakesh had been in this swamp to gather one billion spherical cores so as to form the key.

Aakesh followed the same routine as in past days and kept killing heads to gather the spherical cores. With every walk, the strength of the heads was growing, so the battle duration was also seeing an increase.

Time flew by, and several hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Screech!

An eerie scream rang in Aakesh's ears, freezing him for a full two seconds. Fortunately for Aakesh, he had created a shield for him before stepping forward, so the head could only hit the barrier and not him.

[Host, the sun is about to rise!]

The system's alert rang in Aakesh's ears while he was in the midst of the battle. Aakesh ignored it and focused on his battle.

Time flew by, and finally, the battle came to an end.

Since there was no point in Aakesh going against his schedule to stay in Panagea and decrease meditation time, he decided to exit Panagea. The next moment, he found himself back in the store.
