Chapter 1309: Past Memory(27)

"Let's end this!" Caskar yelled and rushed.

There was a blaze of fire around him, and the projection of a giant engulfed in flames was above him.

The next moment, the projection changed, and the fire turned into water. The scene kept repeating for every element as Caskar reached the beast.

The next moment, the five giants appeared at once and melted into one. The same phenomenon repeated itself in reality as the elements surrounding him melted, and then a dot appeared at the tip of his finger.

Caskar then released the attack. The beast had also unleashed [Elemental Cataclysm].

Boom!

The next moment, the two attacks clashed, but the attack released by Caskar began devouring the huge burst of energy the beast had unleashed.

The Six-Faced Python wanted to use [Elemental Resilience] to defend against the attack, but the addition of the ether element had changed the property of the strike.

The attack easily passed through the barrier and struck the beast. The dot seemed to be the seed of a black hole as it suddenly erupted and devoured the beast in its entirety.

Boom!

The dot then exploded, creating a gigantic mushroom cloud, and utter destruction took place in the area.

The next moment, Caskar found himself back in the store, staring at the card in the card compartment. A smile spread across his face since he had won the taming battle and made the beast his own.

The smile suddenly froze, and a wave of piercing pain passed through Caskar's body like a current, shaking him.

The pain disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, and the smile returned. The next moment, the screen on the device lit up, and the content of the contract appeared on it.

Caskar trusted the store enough that he didn't even read the content on the screen and left the queue to complete the last step. After he exited the room, he joined the line of several people in front of the store owner.

After waiting for some time, it was his turn. He respectfully handed the beast card to Aakesh and requested, "Store owner, I want to buy this beast."

Aakesh nodded and took the card from Caskar's hand.

"You need to pay nine hundred ultimate, two hundred fifty thousand supreme, and one hundred ten higher Sacred stones," Aakesh expressionlessly informed Caskar, returning the beast card.

Since Caskar didn't own a card and also didn't have the amount in required stones, Aakesh informed him of the three store cards.

Being a talented figure in the race made Caksar a slightly wealthy man, but at the end of the day, he was still someone from a different race, so his wealth wasn't that high, considering the direct members of the race. The price of the beast was something that required more than half of his total wealth. But since it was a product from the store, Caskar didn't care about it.

After learning about the store cards, he bought one Ultimate Store Card for himself since it allowed him to leave and come as he wanted without worrying about the long travel time.

After the purchase was complete, Caskar focused on the next product. He already had a cultivation art given to him by the system, so he didn't need one from the store. He also had a variety of different types of skills. But since skills had no limit to their quantity, Caskar decided to check them, and if he found something suitable, he would make the purchase.

Once he made his decision, he asked some questions related to the product. He then thanked Aakesh and walked toward the room.

When he entered the room, he was greeted by the sight of the counters and the numerous murals painted across the walls. Caskar smiled upon seeing the murals. There was nothing in the store that could give him a greater shock than what he had received when he saw that beast during the contract.

He still remembered the comment made by the store owner with a cheeky smile.

"I can tell you a way to break the contract."

"You only have to kill the Cosmos Contract Beast, and you will no longer be bound by the contact."

"Oh, you want to know its level. I will only tell you this that the beast is an avatar of a Deva."

The shock Caskar received that day was enough for his lifetime. Every being in the multiverse, irrespective of their level and knowledge, knew of the existence of the Devas and their power.

Caskar went to the counter for the skills for Higher God cultivators. He was a five-element user and was equally well versed in every one of them, so he didn't think of only one element and reached the second last shelf in the bottom row. It was for Emperor level attacking type skills.

The first skill he pulled out belonged to the earth element, and he didn't like what he read there, so he returned the card. The second time, his attempt resulted in a fire skill, and the result was the same as the previous time.

After Caskar reached for the third time and pulled out a new skill, he finally found one he liked. It belonged to the air element, and Caskar focused on the content.

[Name: Zephyr's Wrath

Type: Attack

Level: Emperor

Cultivation Level: Early to Peak Higher God

Effect: Unleashes a tempest of overwhelming power

Description: The user taps into the majestic essence of air, summoning a celestial tempest of transcendent power. This skill harnesses the boundless energy of air, unleashing an ethereal assault that surpasses ordinary tempest attacks.

The skill demands profound understanding and mastery of the element of air. The strain on the user's spiritual strength can be immense, and the tempest may affect the user's perception and focus.

Price: Seventy thousand supreme Sacred stones.]

After reading the details on the card, Caskar decided to select it. The price was in his bearable range.

He then reached for the last shelf in the bottom row and pulled out the same skill. He immediately returned the card since the skill's price saw an exaggerated jump.
