Chapter 1308: Caskar and the Beast(26)

Caskar read the details on the card with a focused expression. The Six-faced Python was one of the strongest races in the snake group and had a history far surpassing many of the top races of the Sacred Dimension.

Since Caskar liked the skills he saw on the card, he decided to choose the beast as his summon. The characteristic [Elemental Resilience] was also a good ability. Even though it was only limited to the six elements the beast could control, these elements were standard across the populace of the dimension.

The ability also allowed the beast to reflect the attack with a hundred percent power, which in itself was a rare ability. Reflecting any attack took some energy from the original strike, making the reflected attack have less power.

Since the decision had been made, Caskar turned around and walked toward the square device. The customer behind him took his spot and initiated the summoning.

Caskar had to wait several minutes since the number of people in the queue was high, so the small time required to complete the process wasn't much of an advantage.

When it was Caskar's turn, he placed the card in the card compartment while putting his right hand on the respective section. His eyes showed the amount of confidence he had in his ability to win the taming battle.

The next moment, Caskar found his consciousness in a different environment. He was on a hard surface with a weird temperature. Sometimes it was warm, while the weather would suddenly become chilly sometimes. As far as his eyes could see, he saw a desolate area.

The next moment, the ground started to tremble as if something had woken below it. It didn't take long for the reason behind the sudden situation, as the next moment, six heads of different colors popped out from the ground one after another.

Soon after the head, it was the turn of the creature's body. The scene looked weird when it appeared in its complete form, with Caskar not even visible in front of the gigantic beast.

Only one of its heads was enough to cover the sun in the sky. Its eyes seemed chilly as they immediately stared at the intruder.

Hiss! Hiss!

The six heads hissed at once with menacing glares. Caskar stood there calm, unafraid of the beast. That seemed to have enraged the beast as it raised its tail and brought it down at a quick speed.

Rumble!

The next moment, the ground shook with even more intensity than the previous time, while a cloud of dust and rocks rose in the air.

Ding!

The next moment, the bell rang in the ears of both parties, and the battle had begun at that time.

The beast took the initiative to attack and opened its mouth. The next moment, a spray of poison engulfed the area over a distance of thousands of miles.

Caskar wasn't immune to the poison, so he immediately snapped his fingers, and orange fire engulfed him. It didn't hurt him at all.

Chiss! Chiss!

The next moment, a burning sound began ringing in the area as the flame burned the poisonous air itself. The next moment, a fantastic scene played out as the air caught fire, and soon the entire range in which poison particles were in the sky got engulfed in the fire.

In no time, the poison in the sky was burned to nothingness. The fire seemed to be alive, and it tried to burn the beast. The beast opened its mouth and released a torrent of mist.

The mist was thick enough to cause sight issues for the user. But the mist had other abilities as it doused the fire. It seemed like an impossible scene, but that's exactly what played out in Caskar's eyes.

Caskar was the master of five primary elements: fire, water, earth, air, and ether. Immediately, he attacked.

A torrent of water emerged beneath his feet and propelled him toward the enemy, and there was a ball of orange flame burning at an extremely high temperature in his hand.

The beast spanned five thousand miles, so the distance between the two wasn't short at all. Even to reach one head from another would take time, let alone closing the gap between him and the beast.

The beast attacked, using that time to its advantage. It was agile and quick, so it suddenly pulled the head, referring to the element of poison, back and then pushed it. It acted like a spring, and the head rushed at Caskar with even quicker speed.

Boom!

The next moment, Caskar and the beast clashed, resulting in a loud explosion. The force from the blast pushed him back, but the beast was unaffected by it.

While all this had happened, only a few seconds had passed since the battle between the two began.

Time flew by, and both opponents showed their mastery over the elements. Caskar was already someone with great mastery of the five elements as well as large energy storage due to the help of the system bought from the store.

So the energy-rich environment further boosted his strength, as much as it worked for the Six-Faced Python.

Even though the beast was immune to Caskar's elemental attack other than the ether element, the ability [Elemental Resilience] demanded enormous energy and was extremely taxing to the body. At that state, the body would automatically absorb the energy in the environment, taxing the energy veins inside the beast's body.

Whenever Caskar would use an attack that was impossible to defend and would cause severe injury, the beast would activate its characteristics and defend. Fortunately for Caskar, he attacked while keeping the reflection attribute of the [Elemental Resilience] in mind every time he attacked, so he would already be out of range of the strike and easily dodge it.

Time flew by, and the battle continued between the two at a quick rate. At first, the fight was quick and flashy, but as time passed, things calmed down, and the two used their attacks wisely.

The energy-rich area made it easy for them to fight for a longer time than usual, but Caskar was waiting for an opportune moment to arrive to win the battle.
