Katrina's eyes shone as she was waiting for that moment since she got hold of the sum of one million ultimate Sacred stones.
She didn't even wait for a moment and called for Autumn to come with him. Autumn smiled helplessly but still followed her.
Autumn didn't want to take advantage of Katrina again, but Katrina made her take a vow that she would buy the beast. Autumn had never been more thankful for meeting Lily.
Before meeting Lily, Autumn had no name, and she was only one of the central rulers. If someone were to tell her that she and Katrina would be best of friends and as close as siblings one day, she would have scoffed at them, but the scenario played exactly like that.
Last time, Autumn was the first to summon the beast, but this time, Katrina took her place.
When they entered the room, there was no line in front of the second Beast Summoner Device, so Katrina immediately got her turn.
As she reached the pillar, she first looked at the nine beasts in nine different sections on the screen.
The last time, Katrina summoned the Dream Creator, one of the top two beasts available for summoning at that stage.
The beast hadn't disappointed Katrina, and only in the past ten or so years had its cultivation level grown to peak True God, one entire level.
Katrina wanted a powerful beast this time as well, so thinking of several beasts she had on her mind, she pressed the switch.
The next moment, the square light started to rotate, and soon it reached an unprecedented speed. Five seconds passed in a flash, and the rotation came to a stop.
The next moment, a beast unfamiliar to her appeared on the screen. Not long after, a card formed out of nowhere and flew into her hand.
Katrina caught the card and immediately went to the quality section. Seeing that it was an ultimate quality beast, she heaved a sigh of relief and then focused on other details.
A few seconds later, Katrina placed the card in the return compartment with disappointment written over her face. If someone else were to summon the beast, they would have been jubilant, but not Katrina.
She came from the Kindeva race, a powerful race of the Primordial Dimension, and she knew her luck was great in the Sacred Dimension.
Aakesh wasn't very transparent with her when it came to the store's products, but he told her more than others since they had been sitting together for the past several years.
From Aakesh, she had already known about the Dream Creator being a top two beast, and she wanted her to get one such beast the second time as well.
Katrina then returned to the screen and pressed the button, initiating the second round of summoning.
The next moment, '1' appeared on top of the screen, and the square light started to rotate.
Time flew by, and Katrina had attempted six turns in total. She had gotten an ultimate quality beast all six times, but she wasn't satisfied with what she saw.
Katrina pressed the button, beginning the seventh round of summoning. She hoped to get a beast that time, as the summoning cost was exponentially growing with every attempt.
The next moment, '6' appeared on top of the screen, and the square light started to rotate. Five seconds passed in a flash, and another beast unfamiliar to her appeared on the screen.
Not long after, a card formed out of nowhere and flew into her hand. She caught it and focused on the content.

A/N: I am looking for suggestions for what beast to give to Autumn. I want it to be on equal footing as the Three-Eyed Spirit and not like the last time when there was a clear difference between Katrina and Autumn's beasts. Comment with your suggestions.
