Chapter 1220: Urge!

Martin returned the card to Magnus after reading the details on it.

Even though Martin had already heard about the beast from Magnus, as he read the details on the card, the urge to buy one for himself appeared in his mind.

Martin was a man of intuition, so once he had the urge, he decided to go through with it. As for Magnus, he went and joined the queue for the square device.

After making his decision, Martin turned in the direction of the second pillar and proceeded in that direction. There was no customer waiting there, so Martin immediately got his turn.

He looked at the nine different beasts in nine sections on the screen. He recognized all of them and then pressed the switch.

Martin felt like trying to see through the rotation, but an intense sense of danger appeared and forced him to abort that. He peacefully stayed there and waited.

Five seconds passed in a flash, and soon a beast appeared on the screen. Not long after, a card formed out of thin air and flew into his hands.

Martin was a Sacred Creator, so the chances for him to get a beast of quality that was lower than ultimate were less than the chances of a Divine Transformation from a low-level race cultivator getting an ultimate quality beast.

Having ultimate quality at the Supreme God level didn't make it certain that the beast would go on to reach the Sacred Creator level. What it made sure of was that if the beast ticked the right boxes, it would reach that level.

Martin was already aware of the beast, so he looked at the details on the card. The next moment, there was a small movement in his eyes. It was only a slight expansion, so much so that not even someone standing next to him would notice. Something that could surprise him was bound to be extraordinary, and that was what Martin felt when he read the details of the beast.

Use it wisely, and watch your opponents fall before the might of the Ferocious Crocodile.

Price: One hundred seventy-five thousand ultimate Sacred stones.]

The Ferocious Crocodile was a creature that called awe and fear from whoever stood in front of it. It was a gigantic creature spanning hundreds of miles. It possessed a muscular and streamlined body covered in thick, scaly armor. Its scales shone with a dark, lustrous sheen, ranging in color from deep green to shades of midnight black. Its eyes were a piercing golden hue, radiating an intense and predatory stare that sent shivers down the spines of those who met its gaze. Its jaws were adorned with jagged spikes, enhancing its ferocious appearance. Intricate patterns covered its body.

The Ferocious Crocodiles were one of the overlords of the Beast group, with only race on top of it. It was on the same level as the Gorkins considering their power level and influence on the Sacred Dimension.

The reason Martin felt surprised by the beast was the element of darkness. The Ferocious Crocodiles were known for their mastery of the earth and water elements. It was never known for its dark abilities.

"Is it the first Ferocious Crocodile?" Martin muttered as he suddenly remembered. There had only been one beast with the element of darkness, and it was the founder of the race.

The beast won Martin's heart with its history, and when he saw its characteristics, he became more confident in his decision. His eyes then followed through other sections and only stopped at the price.

The skills were good, and there was nothing to complain about, but the price was clearly high.

An early Supreme God Iridescent Bustard cost seventy-five thousand stones while the peak Supreme God cost one hundred seventy-five thousand, an addition of one hundred thousand in ultimate currency.

Martin then stopped thinking about it, as even if there had been an additional zero in the price section, he still would have bought the beast.

The Sacred Creator's inner world was abundant with resources, and the ultimate Sacred stone was one such resource, so it didn't hold as much value as it did for the Sacred Monarch and cultivators below that level.

Martin then left the device and joined the queue.

Magnus was surprised by Martin suddenly standing behind him, joining the line. He couldn't help but become curious about the beast chosen by Martin.
