Even though Xaran wasn't there, Lily still nodded her head, ready to face him in the next round. She then took a step forward and walked into the gate.
On the other side, Bazir was waiting for her. Several centuries had passed, but he looked the same as ever. Lily still couldn't estimate just how strong Bazir was at his full strength.
After the fifth round, the participants would get a training break of one hundred and fifty years.
The next day, the training restarted. Since there was no mental calming feature, many participants had grown frustrated with the continuous battle and training. It included Lily in the earlier rounds, but as she progressed, she found her motivation, and no longer felt frustrated with the repeating scenes.
Time flew by, and one hundred fifty years passed in the blink of an eye.
Lily and Bazir were standing in front of the open door. Both of them seemed confident that Lily would survive the sixth round, so they were smiling.
Lily wasn't being overconfident, but she had gained a skill that allowed her to feel confident. She no longer worried about the battle with Xaran if it occurred in the sixth round.
