Chapter 115: Outrageous Skill

Around 40 minutes had passed when George and Evelyn suddenly spawned in the store.

"This early!" Aakesh thought in surprise after seeing the couple spawning in the store.

"It was an easy quest," George smilingly told Aakesh after spawning. The next moment, a blue screen containing their rewards appeared in front of both of them.

Evelyn had won a skill, whereas George had won a weapon as the bonus reward.

They both paid for their rewards to take it out in the real world. Evelyn won a skill called 'Sword Physique'. It cost her a whopping 51 supreme Primal stones, but she happily paid for it. Both Aakesh and George had shocked expressions, reading the details of the skill as a blue window containing all the details of the skill appeared for them to see.

Skill name: Sword Physique,

Ability: It provides immunity against anyone having lower knowledge of swords than the owner. It also allows the user to control their opponent's sword, with rare chances of manipulating the sword of a stronger opponent than the owner,

Cooldown: 24 hours.

"Hey, system, how can you give such skill only in the starting town?" Aakesh complained to the system in his head while Evelyn started laughing, seeing the looks on Aakesh and George's faces.

[Host, the bonus reward of the first quest depends upon the performance and luck, with both taking half shares. Her performance and fate, both worked for her, so she got the higher bonus rewards, while the man didn't have enough good fortune, so he got a weak weapon as the bonus reward.]

The system responded in its emotionless and mechanical voice. "Why would you give luck the same importance as the performance in the quest?" Aakesh asked as it was unfair to many. Both George and Evelyn appeared in the same town and completed the same quest, but one got an unprecedented reward, while the other got an ordinary sword that cost 2 top Primal stones.

[Host, Luck is a significant part of who we are. If you didn't have heavenly luck, you would've never gotten Virtual portals as your portal.]

The system responded. Aakesh could only nod as what the system said was right.

"Okay, let's go. We've to do many things," Evelyn said, seeing George shaking his head disappointedly, staring at the sword in his hands.

George nodded and put the sword in his pocket space. He then followed Evelyn to the portal room.

Time flew by, and six hours passed. The system forced Lenna out since her six-hour stay in Panagea was complete. She didn't directly spawn in the store. She appeared in the void since she hadn't put any Primal stone in her supreme card, and the payment for Panagea was still due. She then got an alert in her head about the unsettled cost.

The next moment, she added a supreme Primal stone to her card, and the store deducted its payment, then she spawned in the store. Her eyes then fell on Aakesh relaxing on his chair.

She wanted to request him to teach her Draconian for the last time, but the words of George appeared in her head. She then heaved a disappointed sigh and left the store, as the more she stood here, her urge of learning Draconian would Increase.

Only a few minutes had passed when George and Evelyn spawned in the store. They both had content expressions on their faces as they enjoyed their stay in Panagea very much.

"Aakesh, we'll come tomorrow," Evelyn smilingly told Aakesh and then left the store with George.

No customer came after that until the closing time of the store. In the evening, when the light faded and the darkness rolled in, Aakesh closed the door of the store.

He then disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection ground. He then took the bow from the weapon counter and disappeared from the selection ground.

The next moment, he appeared in the familiar arena in the midst of the cheer of the crowd. Then a blue screen with three options appeared in front of him. He selected to fight the second round, as he still had to defeat his opponent using the bow.

The next moment, his opponent appeared in the arena with a cold look. The bell then rang and announced the start of the battle.

The battle began with the clash of the arrow and the sword. The sound of continuous clashes echoed in the arena. Suddenly, the battle arena turned darker as countless bolts appeared in the sky, threatening every single person present in the crowd.

"Whoosh!"

The continuous sounds of arrows tearing through the air rang as they bombarded the opponent. Suddenly the air in the arena turned cold as a white light engulfed the opponent.

The next moment, a white flash passed through the arena. A few moments later, when the air in the battle arena subsided, only two beings remained in the battle arena without even a hint of injury, while the battlefield had turned into ruins.

The battle didn't stop as Aakesh shot an arrow aiming at the opponent's head, then the next arrow, and continuous after that, while moving at the same time to confuse the opponent.

But the opponent easily deflected every arrow, but his movement started turning sluggish a few moments later as the weight of the arrow increased with every shot.

Suddenly, the air froze in the arena, as an outline of a projection appeared right above the opponent, but right at that moment, countless arrows appeared in the sky, and they started falling, with each bolt weighing more than a ton.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Continuous sounds of explosions rocked the arena as arrows bombarded into the projection of the sword.

A few moments later, both the arrows and the projection disintegrated, as no one came out as the stronger party in the clash.

Aakesh left the arena right away after that, as it was another draw. To defeat him was easy for him since he had unlimited endurance, so he would not become tired, whereas his opponent would. But since he was here to learn, he stopped the battle.

After appearing in the selection arena, he decided to fight an archery battle. Time flew by, and around an hour passed. He fought various kinds of archery battles, and he won every one of them.. The next moment, he disappeared from the selection ground and appeared in the store.
