Chapter 103: Deal
"What can a weakling like you even do in the event that could affect the entire dimension?" Aakesh expressionlessly said.
The next moment, the air in the store turned wild as a destructive aura engulfed Lenna. "I am stronger than you!" She said as she released her aura of Tao Palace for Aakesh to see.
Aakesh had no change in his expression as he had already found her cultivation level when she entered the store.
In the next instant, Lenna felt a sudden pressure, which calmed and extinguished her aura in no time. A horrified expression appeared on her face as she looked at Aakesh.
"Aren't you only a Void Forging cultivator?" She said with a slight tremble in her voice as she could still feel pressure on her.
Aakesh ignored her question and instead asked, "What would I get if I helped you in whatever you want from that event?"
Lenna took a deep breath to calm her pounding heart as she had underestimated the store owner. Until now, she believed that the store owner was only a pawn for someone who ran the store for something else, but after seeing his power, she doubted that conjecture. She still believed that someone was behind the store as even Immortals couldn't create something so real like Panagea.
"We would share our gains 50-50!" She responded after thinking for a while as even after seeing his power, she was still confident of defeating him by the things her father and grandma had given him.
"Okay!" Aakesh said right away, making Lenna shocked.
She didn't expect Aakesh to agree at 50-50. That was the reason for her to make it her first offer. She was willing to go to a 70-30 reward share. She was only here for a single treasure which she would never tell Aakesh about, and everything else she would gain was of no importance to her.
Aakesh agreed with her proposal, as he didn't care what they gained after the end of the event. If he liked something, he would surely take it whether Lenna wanted it or not. He was only interested in the event due to Turta (the Earthern troll in chapter 67). He wanted to see what was the part of that boy in the event.
"Are you sure?" She asked to make sure.
"Yes!" Aakesh expressionlessly responded.
Lenna nodded as she wasn't afraid of him betraying her. She had enough treasures to kill even an Immortal.
She relaxed a little after making a deal with him. It eased the tension she had been carrying from her city all the way to the Bisan Kingdom. It was still many days from the event, but her grandmother had ordered her to reach the Bisan Kingdom early, as she would get an early fortune before the event. It was only now that she understood what her grandma meant by an early chance.
Having been refused an extension from six hours by Aakesh, she paid for the remaining five hours and entered the portal. The next moment she appeared in Panagea.
After Lenna left, Aakesh stopped thinking about the event that would come a month later, and instead, he focused on the event that he had to organize seven days later to complete the quest.
After some time passed, Lenna spawned in the store with an excited expression. She then came up to Aakesh and looked at him without speaking anything.
"What do you want?" He expressionlessly asked, seeing her not going away.
"I completed my quest!" She responded with a smile.
"So?" Aakesh expressionlessly asked. On the outside, he looked expressionless, but on the inside, he was shocked seeing how quickly she had completed her quest.
"I got a weapon as a bonus reward. How do I take it out?" She asked with a hint of pride in her voice.
The next moment, before Aakesh could respond, a blue screen out of nowhere appeared in front of Lenna. One side on the blue window featured a bow she had won as her bonus reward, whereas the other side featured an animated black hole.
Under the bow, twenty top Primal stones were listed as the price to take it out. Aakesh didn't have to say anything as she understood the meaning of what it implied. She took out 20 top Primal stones from her space ring and dropped them in the animated black hole.
The next moment, the blue screen started dispersing into light particles. When it dispersed completely, a bow entirely black in color appeared, floating in the air.
She grabbed the bow and then stretched the bowstring to its limit and released it. A loud sound of boom echoed in the store as a result. She nodded after hearing the boom.
The bow wasn't good for her to use at her cultivation, but it would be a good weapon for anyone below Void Condensation.
She then put the bow in her space ring and returned to Panagea, while Aakesh wanted to see what quests she had cleared even faster than him, so a black screen appeared in front of him.
