The night passed by quickly, and day came rolling by, bringing the morning.

The Inn was really of good quality. It almost felt as though they were in some noble's lounge. Private baths were provided for them in each room, and they had everyother thing they could possibly need in a house.

As this world was modelled to resemble the old times, it was normal for commoners not to have baths, making them a thing enjoyed only by the nobles.

Dustin woke up relatively early and took his bath before getting ready. His clothes had been washed and prepared for him through the night, and delivered to him that morning. He was in clean clothes, and they even smelled nice. As he exited his room, he ran into Rea who was also coming out of hers. Their rooms were positioned adjacent eachother, so they were staying close.

"You look good.. And, smell nice too." She said in a soft voice. Her cheeks immediately became slightly flustered, as the words had slipped from her thought before she knew it. She immediately tried to calm herself down, however.

"Thank you, I was going to say the same about you." Dustin said. Unlike the trouser and standard adventurer's outfit, she seemed to be wearing a skirt now, but still keeping the top. Realising that, Rea quickly explained how she happened to get this different clothe while they headed down to the bottom floor, where they ate breakfast before leaving the Inn.

"Our first goal today will be to find a place to stay. We can't live in an Inn forever." Said, Dustin. Rea nodded and followed along. She still felt a bit like a stranger even then, so she wasn't very vocal, or maybe that was just her normal self?

As it was still early, they made their way around the city first, exploring the new place to familiarize themselves with the new surroundings.

Not long after they started walking around, under 15 minutes, they had reached the market area of the city. To Rea this was a new experience. Back in the modern world, she would be used to going to malls and the like, so such a public market was refreshing to say the least.

"Why don't we walk around here a bit?" Dustin suggested. It wasn't really like he was asking, more like he was leading the way.

They ended up spending quite the time in the market, and when they were about to leave, Dustin stopped in front of a particular vendor that sold masks. He thought of buying one for a bit, but then it was tracable if he was going to do anything that required wearing a mask.

Seeing that the morning was far spent, Dustin decided it was a good time to head to the ones who dealt with houses and such. While in the market, he happened to obtain the information too.

They gradually walked away from the market into a quieter part of the city.

"This place is really good. Their roads even look like infrastructures from the later times of the 20th century." Said, Dustin, and Rea acknowledged.

"That's it." Rea pointed towards a particular shop with a symbol hanging outside drawn on a wooden plank. It was the same one they got from description.

They both entered into the shop, and soon noticed that it seemed empty. Dustin was about to call out, but then someone came from behind the counter. He stood up and looked at both of them for a moment, then sprang up energetically.

"Welcome! Please, don't mind my manners! How can I help you two today." The young man that seemed to be in his mid twenties with blond hair and blue eyes said.

Dustin wasn't surprised and maintained his composure, it wasn't like he hadn't sense the presence before hand.

"We're looking to buy a house." He said, quite straight forward.

"Ahh! I have just the one for you then!" The young man said. "By the way, my name is Seth. Please, come this way."

'How does he know what I want?' Dustin thought, but decided to humour himself.

Seth led them into another room and brought them before a table before taking out a booklet from the shelf behind.

"Here, this collection of houses are cheap and very affordable, and would suite any new couple like yourselves. Come, look through!" Seth said, with a big smile, like a pro salesman.

'Couples..' Dustin said in his mind. He took a quick glance back and saw Rea blushing quite obviously, she just couldn't control this one. 'Heh…'

Dustin walked forward and looked through the houses. These houses were good alright, but not quite what he wanted.

"I would like to see the houses that are more secluded from the rest and not in the middle of city." He said calmly. This wasn't an unusual request, but it was peculiar, making Seth look at Dustin with slightly narrow eyes.

"We do have those. This way." He said, maintaining his bright smile, as he led the way to another shelf.

From this shelf, he drew out a much larger book than the last, this one being as big as his entire mid section at least.

After a little intro, just salesman stuff, he gave the book to Dustin to check. One thing Dustin noticed was the volume of this one, as it seemed to be smaller in number of pages.

Dustin looked through the houses indicated in this book, and they all were good, but…

"Is there nothing else, something a bit farther away than these?" Dustin asked.

The houses he had seen now were either close to the edge of the city, or at the edge of the living area. It was not enough.

"Well, that's the farthest it goes, Sir." Sid, Seth.

"Really?"

"Well, maybe if you can return in two days, my master will be back and you can speak with him then." Seth said, he was about to continue on to say something, but was interrupted by Dustin.

"Why is that?"

"Well, there are some, 'special houses', that are not contained in these records, only he can discuss those with you. And, just to make it clear, I can't guarantee that you can even get access to those, not to mention the price." Seth said the last part under his breath, barely audible, though Victor heard him.

He was a true salesman, so he couldn't underestimate a customer so much, even though analysing what a customer could afford was part of his job. Dustin and Rea did look ordinary, but if this man dared to ask for these type of houses, then surely he could back it up.

"It's ok then, we'll return in two days." Said, Dustin.

They left the shop afterwards, and from Seth, leant of the location of their next destination.

"Thank you." Dustin said to Seth. free(w)ebnov(e)l

"No no, It's my pleasure. See you soon." He gave a slight bow, before they left.

"Are we going to register to be adventurers today?" Rea asked.

"Yeah. Since we have time, let's get it over with."
