She immediately said, “Where is this girl? I want to meet her right now.”
Keith said helplessly, “I don’t think so. She still has to help Qin Yue with his rehabilitation and teach our doctors first. Besides, she’s the designer of the X-ray spot technology. She’s still in the process of promoting it.”
Luna was originally getting impatient with his excuses, but after hearing the last part, she exploded again: “What did you say? She’s the designer of the X-ray spots?”
Keith held the phone a little farther away before replying.
Luna was dumbfounded for a moment, then said, “Oh my God, is she even an adult? She looks so young! Well, since she’s busy, I’ll go to her instead.”
Without waiting for Keith to answer, she hung up.
Keith sent a message to Luna saying that she should be gentler in front of Xiao Ying, lest her temper scare her away.
Luna’s temper flared again, but then realized he had a point.
Hence, here Xiao Ying was, looking at a woman who was smiling gently. She asked suspiciously, “May I help you?”
Luna, with her waist-length wavy hair, sunglasses on the top of her head, and bright red lipstick, looked extremely fashionable.
She curled her red lips. “I’m Keith’s aunt.”
Xiao Ying opened her eyes wide in surprise and couldn’t help but say, “You look really young. If you didn’t tell me, I would have thought you were the same age as Keith.”
Luna laughed heartily, but then she remembered something and coughed before forcing her lips into a gentler smile, saying, “You sure have a way with your words.”
Having met countless people in her life, she could tell at a glance if a person was sincere.
In her heart, she was even more satisfied with Xiao Ying. A youngster with such impressive achievements who was neither arrogant nor impatient was truly rare.
Xiao Ying smiled gently and said, “Are you looking for Keith? Should I bring you to his office?”
“Sure,” Luna said.
It did not even cross Xiao Ying’s mind that Luna might be here for her. After all, it was only yesterday that Keith brought up the University of Science and Technology. There was no way they would already be looking for her today.
She reached the office and knocked on the door. Before Keith could tell them to enter, Luna pushed the door open and said, “It’s okay, just come in. We’re not strangers.”
Hearing the familiar voice made Keith cringe. He hadn’t expected her to actually come, especially not so quickly.
Luna entered and pulled Xiao Ying directly onto the couch. Seeing that Keith was not moving, she said angrily, “Can’t you see us here? Don’t you know to pour us some tea?”
Keith got up and poured them two cups of tea. Xiao Ying quickly said, “You guys talk. I have to go check up on Colonel Qin Yue’s situation.”
Luna quickly stopped her and said, “What’s there to talk about with him? I came for you today.”
Xiao Ying had not expected this outcome. “What can I do for you?”
Luna reached out and slapped Keith on the shoulder, sending him falling onto the couch.
Noticing Xiao Ying’s gaze, Luna coughed lightly and said with a soft smile, “He’s too weak.”
With that, she said to Keith, “No matter how busy you are with work, you still have to make sure to exercise. Otherwise, you won’t even be able to beat me, a weak woman.”
Keith almost coughed up blood. You? A weak woman?
She was already a 9th-degree black belt in taekwondo.
But seeing her threatening gaze, he could only nod.
Xiao Ying looked at Keith’s body suspiciously. Was he really that weak?
Luna said quickly, “Did Keith tell you yesterday? About inviting you to give lectures at the University of Science and Technology?”
Xiao Ying nodded and said, “But I can’t go just yet.”
“No problem, I just came to meet you, and then discuss the payment with you.”
Xiao Ying hesitated and said, “I need to pay to give lectures at the University of Science and Technology?”
Both Luna and Keith chuckled at this.
