In the midst of an eerie silence, Zhu Jiutian's sudden outburst was startling and jarring.
Everyone present swiveled their stiff necks to direct their gaze at Zhu and Zhan.

"Ahem..." Yue Shuang cleared her throat. She returned to her calm, aloof demeanor and stated blandly, "We've had a comprehensive discussion with Lord Cha regarding the current situation. We've gone over the entire sequence of events, shared our perspectives, and ultimately engaged in negotiations."
"It did take quite some time. Given the extensive matters that needed to be addressed and their significance, it was necessary to delve deeply into the discussion to ensure nothing was overlooked," Yue Han added.
However, their explanations only seemed to make things worse, as if they were attempting to cover up a falsehood.
"Puff... Ahem... cough, cough, cough..." Zhan Yunfei choked and started coughing uncontrollably.
Zhu Jiutian's eyes widened as if he had seen a ghost...
Cha Nantian was utterly baffled. He had no idea what to say...

"We are the good guys," Yue Han declared serenely.
Cha Nantian couldn't help but keep his eyes wide open. He felt as though he were in a surreal dream.
He couldn't find the words to convey what was transpiring at that moment!
Zhan Yunfei collapsed to the floor and coughed violently, as if his world were crumbling. It appeared that he wouldn't cease coughing until the world's end!
This wasn't an exaggeration—it was the stark reality. Zhan Yunfei was thoroughly confounded. He had no idea how to react and had become choked up. The more they spoke, the worse he felt. It was evident that he would continue coughing considering his speechlessness.
He even welled up with tears due to the prolonged coughing.
Zhu Jiutian fared no better. He stood there like a stunned bird, his mouth agape and his neck craned, maintaining the same pose for an extended period.
Others might have assumed that the two ladies were simply being reasonable. Their words did indeed appear accurate...
However, Zhan Yunfei and Zhu Jiutian knew all too well how terrifying the two ladies could be.
They possessed a far more profound understanding of the two ladies than anyone else!

Cha Nantian involuntarily took a deep breath. He stared in disbelief at Yue Shuang and Yue Han.

The two ladies, who had maintained their frosty expressions for hundreds of years, began to feel uneasy under Cha Nantian's unrelenting gaze. They coughed to mask their discomfort. Yue Han nodded and said, "That's correct. We felt ashamed."
Even after confirming that the ladies were sincere in their statement, Cha Nantian remained in a state of shock.
